NEW YORK (Reuters) - Fired White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci described President Donald Trump as a "compassionate person" on Monday but said he should have condemned neo-Nazis in his initial statement about the violence in Virginia.

KATHMANDU/DHAKA (Reuters) - Heavy monsoon rains in Nepal, Bangladesh and India have killed more than 160 people in the last week, officials said on Tuesday, as authorities rushed to rescue those missing or stranded in flooded areas.

More villages flooded as breach in flood barrier expands

Recovery of Thai students’ bodies on hold until river current drops
