PATTAYA: -- Tourist police took a Chinese tourist to the police station after he had his 30,000 baht iPhone stolen while out for a walk on Beach Road in Pattaya yesterday.

Mr Cho Ieok, 26, told investigating officer Sanan Khotanon that he had come to the resort for a vacation with his fellow countrymen and women and was staying in Central Pattaya at a beach hotel.

He was out for an evening stroll with friends to admire the surroundings and atmosphere when he was accosted by what he perceived to be a transgender individual.

The transgender individual was suggesting a sexual service to Mr Cho who declined but was subjected to a spot of mild body rummaging.

Unaware that anything untoward had occurred, Mr Cho proceeded on his perambulation only to detect after some ten minutes had elapsed that he was no longer in possession of his mobile telephone.

His suspicions had been strongly aroused that the transgender person who had accosted him earlier was responsible.

He sought the assistance of the tourist constabulary who accompanied him with a friend to report the matter to the investigating policemen at the station.

Police compiled a report of the incident and assured the tourist that they would look into the matter thoroughly.

Pattaya News said in their headline that the "type two woman had spoiled the image of Pattaya".

Just a quote, but the whole article is in the same vein :

'Unaware that anything untoward had occurred, Mr Cho proceeded on his perambulation only to detect after some ten minutes had elapsed that he was no longer in possession of his mobile telephone.'

Now, why is it that some journalists write their articles in the bloated, crass, ridiculous administrative style that is usually found in police reports ? Is it because they just 'copy and paste' ? I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Now this is top reporting full marks to the journalist roflmao!

Hoping as suggested that a thorough looking into this matter occurs

Indeed .. Pathe News lives on .. It was the evening stroll with friends to " admire the surroundings and atmosphere " bit that did it for me ..

No maybe, maybe not quotes are necessary. It´s a man. Not a woman. Disregarding what he what to be, we do not own that choise of luxury. We just have to live with who we are.
This was appearently a man that want´s to be a woman. Can as usual not take a rejection, and have to sexually abouse the person saying no.

After that it´s also just a common pick-pocket theif. Just lucky that we didn´t have to add body harm with a weapon to the list of what these kind of people do everyday in Pattaya.
