August 17, 20178 yr I want to park my bike at Arrivals and walk through to Departures to fly to BKK, so that on my return, I can just jump on my bike and go. Tried it twice before a couple of years ago. Once successful, and the other time the security guard stopped me, and told me to walk around the road ( the long way.) Anyone done this recently? Don't know what the problem was. At Suvarnabhumi, you just go up in a lift.
August 17, 20178 yr Normally I park at departures, and when arriving, just walk to the parking at departures, instead of up hill to arrivals; that use to work (never been stopped)...
August 17, 20178 yr I have done the same as you have planned, but not recently (sorry). My honest view is that it is simply 'hit or miss' and that there is no consistent answer. If the guard likes your face, you have no problem. If he doesn't, you have a long walk. The only helpful(?!) comment that I have is that security seemed to in one of their lazy phases a few days ago when I was there. TIT Edited August 17, 20178 yr by Samui Bodoh

August 18, 20178 yr @phetphetIf I don't have luggage, I park in arrivals, and walk further down the road. That's the straight road which is used by the staff on motorbikes to access the shops on the walking street. There is a guard in a booth and I just show him the boarding pass (I usually do online check in). He lets me through. Works every time. Make sure that you don't use the road that turns right and goes down to departures (the guard on that one guards the travelator and is more strict). Edited August 18, 20178 yr by ethaniel
September 1, 20178 yr Parking at departures has always worked for me. Usually pushing a luggage trolley, no problem.
