AYUTTHAYA: -- A former army soldier has been charged with murder after he confessed to abducting his girlfriend in front of a factory in Ayutthaya province before killing her three years ago.

Polakrit Wiset, the suspect, was taken to perform a reenactment of crime after Saraburi police took him from the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) on Wednesday (Aug 16).

Polakrit allegedly confessed during a police interrogation at the CSD that he had killed Ms Ploynarin Pliphol , 25, out of anger because the woman wanted to break relationship with him after learning that he was already married.

Absolutely pathetic.

How about starting giving out proper punishment for such horrendous crimes.

In some countries, some people receive life sentences, with no chance of EVER being released back into society.

Maybe this would be a good case to set an example, if, of course, he is proved guilty.

Damn him to hell. Thais are immature at best and vindictive at worst. I really wish the death penalty still existed but he'll get a few years, become a monk for 6 months and all will be 'forgiven' as he 'didn't mean to do it'.

So he was enraged that the woman did the morally correct thing to not want to remain in a relationship with him after learning that he was already married (which he probably had kept from her)?

And in reaction to her acting morally responsible his only resolve was to abduct and kill her?

What a pathetic excuse for a human being! What a disgusting, vindictive sack of sh*t! Hit him hard!

He's married, starts having an affair.  The girl find out he married.  Wants to end relationship. He kills her.

Yeah, sounds about normal for the oh so fragile Thai male ego.

Unfortunately, When I was younger, I dated girls who were scarily immature and vindictive like this man. Very scary people. Even scarier are how many exist. People need to grow up and learn how to hear no.

Disgusting creature.

  • Cell with no CCTV for this one please.

So there was *no* progress in the case for 3 years, until the Mother of the missing (and murdered) lady sent a [public] letter to PM Prayuth ? --- And then an arrest [and a confession] was made with 2 weeks of the letter being sent ??
