Can I get a flu shot in Sakon Nakhon? What do I ask for,a seasonal influenza vaccine?

Did you ever get an answer to this?

Can be gotten at any government or private hospital. Possibly also at government health centers but not sure on that point. Just ask for flu vaccine.

Just wondering if the USA shot is the same as Thailand

There is the Northern and Southern Hemisphere versions which are about six months apart - Thailand has access to both in my experience and during October-March I have always received the Northern (same as USA version).  It will be on label so they can advise which you are getting and will also be listed on a detailed receipt.  Believe this is a short shelf life vaccine so normally you get what is currently available - but most years there is very little difference in the types of flu protected for.
