cysampan
Having been lumbered with a 500 euro note, does anyone know the current situation re changing said note in Thailand, preferably Suvanabhumi. I am not by the way a gangster, I received it as part payment of a debt, and I wasn't going to say no!

KhunBENQ
Can't tell about recent times, but in the past years always very welcome. Some Bangkok exchange shops even offer a slightly better exchange rate.

Go down to the entrance of the airport railway link (lowest floor) where you find at least three exchange booths with good rates. Saves you the equiv. of about 20 Euro in losses (4%).
