Pathum Thani mother of three found hanged, boyfriend sought

PATHUM THANI: -- A mother of three was found dead in her Pathum Thani apartment early Wednesday, hanged in the toilet. Her boyfriend is being sought for questioning.

Somjai Sawangku, 31, lived next door to her former mother-in-law, Sansanee Tasawat, 48, in Klong Luang district’s Tambon Klong Nueng.

 

Sansanee told police her son had left Somjai some time ago and now had a new wife. Somjai had been under stress, but had recently acquired a new boyfriend.

 

Sansanee said Somjai and her boyfriend visited her on Tuesday evening before returning to Somjai’s room at 8pm, leaving her elder son and daughter with Sansanee for the night with taking her three-year-old boy back to her room.

 

Sansanee said she heard her younger grandson crying next door and sent her granddaughter, the eldest of the three children, to check. That’s when Somaji was found dead.

 

Police believed the woman had died six to eight hours before her body was discovered. 

 

The body was sent to Thammasat hospital for an autopsy and a summons issued for the boyfriend.
