Thailand is still cheap in comparison to most western countries. I've been here 16 years, gave my Thai partner 20,000 baht a month for housekeeping expenses (for food and utilities) when I first arrived and still giving her the same amount 16 years later.
The Triton has only done just over 20,000 klms in 10 years but the tyres are starting to develop some cracking, so need replacing.
Wondering if I can put on something like Yokohama road tyres ( 3590 baht each ) instead of the heavy duty Bridgestone Dueller tyres that are on now? The pickup is only 2 wheel drive, so no need for off roaders.
Went Monday, got my bank letter in 15 minutes from SCB, then I was the only customer at Immigration to renew retirement visa, so in and out in 10 minutes, then returned yesterday to pick up passport. Doesn't get any easier than that!
