  1. Agreed, but is it alleged that he committed crimes against children?
  2. Thanks. Another reason why we love Thailand! 😏
  3. Even if you can show you have just shopped or eaten in the Plaza?
  4. Is it usually easy to get a space, at around 5pm on a weekday?
  5. Could be an idea. Maybe one of them will shoot him!
  6. Agreed. It's sick that these anti-vax posts are even allowed. Fortunately, very few BMs on this Forum are likely to be influenced.
  7. It's her job! Many Thai girls have their (usually Thai) boyfriend but still work in bars or on the streets! Surely you realised this?
  8. Well said. Celebrating such events is sick.
  9. My Bangkok Bank app works fine. I use DTAC/True.
  10. Surely all insurers will refuse to pay for treatment for undisclosed pre-existing medical conditions?
  11. I believe that the online renewal for the under 50s will be for Thai citizens only.
  12. Yes not great, but very convenient and tasty! Having so many 7-11s is one of the joys of life here.
  13. I wonder what Test they will use? The current IELTS Life Skills test (given in Thailand) is only A1 or B1. There doesn't seem to be a change in A1 being the level required for the initial visa? Presumably, doing B1, which is currently an option for the initial visa if the applicant has good English, will be pointless. Hopefully doing a B2 level test, that meets the UKVI requirements, will be possible.
  14. There is a Thai language test for people who want Permanent Residence or citizenship. But 90% of expats are 'non-immigrants' and have to extend their permission to stay each year.
  15. Yes, walk-in. It can be busy at times, especially if buses of Lao/Cambodian workers are being processed. I have found going in the afternoon, after 2pm is best.
