  1. All other arguments aside, you do realize that with all costs involved a life sentence is cheaper than a death penalty? https://www.hg.org/legal-articles/which-is-cheaper-execution-or-life-in-prison-without-parole-31614
  2. From your source. "It's believed that the suspect was involved in an altercation at a nightclub prior to getting in his car and mounting the pavement."
  3. Change your news sources for real ones. " A temporary spending bill scuttled by opposition from President-elect Donald Trump would have made U.S. Congress members eligible for a 3.8% salary increase, not 40%, as suggested in posts online that misinterpret a report on congressional salaries." From https://www.reuters.com/fact-check/bipartisan-stopgap-spending-bill-did-not-include-40-pay-raise-congress-2024-12-20/
  4. Firstly your source has this as its mission. "FEE’s mission is to inspire, educate, and connect future leaders with the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society. These principles include: individual liberty, free-market economics, entrepreneurship, private property, high moral character, and limited government." Hardly objective is it Secondly this is not true. "In March of 2017, the Associated Press reported that the World Health Organization spent more for the travel of 7,000 staffers than it did for countering malaria, tuberculosis, fighting AIDS and hepatitis, and on tackling mental health and substance abuse." The header of the link to which your source refers says "Health agency spends more on travel than AIDS", the text says. "According to internal documents obtained by The Associated Press, the United Nations health agency routinely has spent about $200 million a year on travel expenses, more than what it doles out to fight some of the biggest problems in public health, including AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined.". I agree the travel expenses are ridiculously high, there is no need to nisinform.
  5. Yes, that's the real reason.
  6. You forgot about the Dutch taking over trump tower in new York. Debt free of course.
  7. Like Harry and Megan?
  8. Imo this is already the case.
  9. It's ridiculous that government officials aren't required to distance themselves from their business interests. And an unofficial advisor like musk can do as he pleases without any repercussions. That together with his social media influence make him a danger to democracy, i.e. if judged the USA is still a democracy.
  10. Except that trump doesn't listen to advisors. He doesn't have to because he knows best, no matter the subject.
  11. It wasn't me talking about biden. Tell that to the person i replied to, but you won't since there's 2 hands on the same stomach.
  12. So the US became a laughing stock according to the US
  13. The ones with egg on their face are the ones who stated and even worse are still stating it was a religious Muslim attack. No point in discussing when the facts are clear.
  14. I would stick with known facts and not with the opinion of one of the most bigoted countries in the world. An opinion btw that does in no way indicate this to be a religious attack.
