  1. Decapitated is harsh. Can we just go for cutting his tongue out so he can't speak
  2. So are you saying everyone who has a twist n go are a tiny bit gay? Personally, I drive my car most places I go but I have the twist n go cos I can't ride a motorbike. I only use it to go to 7/11. Never bothered to learn how to ride a motorbike with gears in the west and so I'm certainly not gonna try and learn on the streets in this crazy town.
  3. I have a Scomadi 125 which is basically the same scooter. I think the 2 engineers who designed them separated and formed 2 companies but used the same design.
  4. Obviously not. I just clicked on next unread topic and as the new PL schedule was coincidentally being released the same day my enthusiasm to answer took over. Very rarely any thai football is mentioned in the footy forum. I therefore retract my answer to the question that wasn't asked.
  5. The new PL fixtures were released this morning 9am UK time. They'll be available on all Sports sites. Man City away to Chelsea is our first game. Here are more of the first games.
  6. I couldn't get that stupid tune out of my head for weeks
  7. Will they close them all on Buddha and voting days!!
  8. Exactly. I posted similar early on in the thread about buying a new car. I'm certainly not going to transfer another 1m baht + to put towards trading in my car for a new one when I could get stung for a big tax bill for doing so. Prior to Dec 2023 I transferred enough money to last about 2 years, including my daughters school fees and also the 800k retirement money. Like you, I'm now cutting right back on what I send here.
  9. I normally change my car every 3 years and my current car is 3 years old this month. Due to the uncertainty around the tax implications of transferring large sums here, I've decided to hold off buying a new car for now. Several of my mates are doing the same thing. Dont know how many other expats will hold off buying big ticket items (even houses/condos) as they don't want to trigger any alarms by transferring large sums of money into their bank accounts.
  10. The problem with Hotels is that they only do the TM30 for your period of stay. Therefore, you will be effectively "missing" after checkout. Is there any way you can get a contract off your pal? If so, you simply show it at the nearest Immi office to Khanom with a new TM30. Or as SportRider just posted, do the TM30 online as well. After that, do your own 90 day reports on line. No need to visit immigration except for your yearly extension (by which time you may have found an agent in Khanom area).
  11. They're hard as nails those Geordie supporters
  12. I can't see it being scrapped. All the rest of the top leagues world who have enough the finances are using it. Why would we want to be the only ones not using it? How do we go on in the CL for instance? We'd have to have it installed for European matches or we wouldn't be allowed in
