  1. Maybe a better case that the whole government resign ?
  2. How are they going to fund the promised 1.5 million new homes ? Now there is media gossip that RR will have to renege on her promise of not to income increase taxes or V.A.T. Also the UK pensioners representatives , namely the Silver Voices group have asked that the tax threshold to be raised in line with annual pension increases / triple lock .However the Treasury replied that they have rejected the idea of exempting pensions or other benefits from tax . So this calamitous so called government will continue to make bad decisions , no doubt . They are clearly out of their league . The problem is they still have another 4 years of their term left . There is no legislation in place that can oust a badly performing government ( bar the king )
  3. No doubt about the fact that the UK benefit / welfare systems are being milked by fraudulent claims and low detection rates from the government bodies . Many claims from so called personal stress . Many long term claimants who can be seen often in supermarkets buying lots of unhealthy food / snacks and alcohol . In the car park they are often seen smoking and also have a non economical car . I quote from my knowing those concerned who boast about their knowledge of the benefits system . Many migrants are taught how to claim by their associates . I agree that both Labour and Tories have not sorted it out . 14.5 % of the UK population are claiming some form of benefit . The manner in which this Labour government is performing can only lead to a financial crisis . Starmer and his cabinet have no control of their party . Something has to give soon .
  4. Do you believe that RR was crying because of a personal matter ? If that was the case it must be quite serious and she was irresponsible for attending the PMQT in such a state . Should have taken time off . I believe the tears were caused because she got put in her place by back benchers who were opposing the P.I.P. reform . The UK welfare system used to work ok many years ago but today with many older folks from the post war baby boom , the supporting finances from the working population is barely enough . Hence the theory of allowing immigration in order that they will find work eventually and contribute financially by way of taxes . However its not happening . In fact immigration is the cause of many UK problems , including NHS queues , housing and ever increasing crime rates caused by unvetted criminal illegal immigrants . what a first year for this awful Labour government . Crisis to crisis , u turns , the Chagos island farce etc . With the N.I. employers contribution rise resulting in an increase in unemployment and either vat or income taxes or both set to rise , the future is bleak for the UK .
  5. Myself & mates use to visit Bangkok ( Nana ) every year for some fun . Stayed at the same hotel every time , until the following . When we checked in to the hotel , we noticed that nearly all guests were Indians . In the morning we went to have the buffet breakfast . The Indians were picking up bread etc with their bare hands and then putting it back . Their plates were overflowing with food and much of it was not eaten , They moved tables together to make big enough to sit 16 to dine together . Other guests could hardly get past their table . In the swimming pool they would swim in their underwear , ignoring the hotel notice to wear appropriate swimwear . Then a young European lady came to us when we were relaxing by the pool and asked if she could sit with us because Indians were taking photos of her in her bikini and she was scared . The popularity of this hotel with the Indians became apparent when in my room I found a receipt for an Indian gentleman for 3 nights stay . The total was 1200 baht for the 3 nights . I was paying more than that for 1 night . These subsidies are enabling poorer Indians to holiday in Thailand . As far as the Chinese are concerned , I think that the majority used to holiday in Thailand on all- inclusive deals in Chinese owned hotels and spent very little money in the local shops . IMO , Pattaya could be so much better if it had a face lift . Make it pedestrian friendly and cater for Western tourists and their standards of living . BTW , I am not a racist and my family is multi cultural .
  6. also and not forgetting that there will be Labour chosen political advisors for KS involved . RR is clearly out of her league and giving her the reigns to run the countries finances was and is still , absolutely astounding .I have no sympathy for her after the way she treated the pensioners , farmers and benefit dependent special folks . This Labour government needs to be called in because with another 4 years of governing , what state will the country be in .
  7. It can often be the case in Thailand , where the guilty driver can pay both the police and the victims family when there is a road accident fatality . I know of such an event . Money talks in Thailand .
  8. Forgot to mention that my wife and I are named drivers on the policy with my wife named as the car owner . I am 78 years old and not a problem getting insurance with Roojai .
  9. I had other car insurance quotes and Roojai were nearly half the price of another Thai insurer for the same cover. Had a couple of not my fault minor accidents and Roojai settled the claim quickly .
  10. The NHS being in dire straits because of the lack of doctors has been said to be recruiting foreign medical staff with lower qualifications . There have also been cases where the so called immigrant doctors have used fake qualifications . The UK is experiencing a brain drain , right now , with the repercussions just beginning . The numbers invading in dinghies will be dwarfed when Starmer gets his way to allow thousands of foreign workers to work in the UK to build the 1.5 million new homes , most of which will be to house immigrants . Starmer and his muppets continue to wreak havoc to the UK and latest figures show 100,000 UK indigenous people emigrated which included millionaires , tradesmen and professionals . The UK is almost beyond recognition . Very sad .
  11. Link is just type in the following on a Google or Lazada search NeoHome Linen shirt
  12. Beach clean up is excellent but it doesn't alter the fact that the polluted sea is unfit to swim in
  13. Just bought a linen shirt on Lazada and the company shows the size chart below . I chose the xl . I am a 42 inch chest but opt for the larger size 44inch that fits ok . 14. I had a similar experience . I was in the UK and wife bought a new car in Thailand with 60% tint . When I came back to Thailand the first time I drove the car was at night and I thought that the lights were faulty so I took the car back to the dealer and complained about the lights but they were not faulty , it was the xxxxxxx stupid tint . A car sales lady had persuaded my wife to have the darker tint as it made the car cooler , WTFK . I had it removed cos it was asking for an accident because of much reduced vision. The UK law say 75% light through the windscreen and 70% light on the front side windows . However most new cars already have a 30% tinted glass windscreen and adding a tint would make your UK insurance void and that has happened a few times in the UK . Is there a correlation with tinted windows and the high amount of road accidents in Thailand ?
  15. Back in the 70s I had many different cars and Christened them all including a Triumph Tr4a ( very keen girlfriend who I think was an ex jockey ) . No need for tinted windows cos they always steamed up . On 2 separate occasions I had a policeman knock the window . Now that was a real passion killer .
