  1. I have some issues with the above statements as I think they are somewhat of a generalisation or an over simplification unless I have completely misunderstood the PND 90. Having looked through the PND90, I for one, have no idea where I might put potential remittances, like pensions for example? In past interactions with Revenue Department staff in Jomtien for claiming simple refund of withheld interest the helpfulness was mixed at best. Not being fluent in Thai and even with a "helper" I could not imagine trying to complete this form with them at this moment. Perhaps it is just me (probably ) but as someone who has completed UK paper forms for some years now with the help of the Notes I can't see the Thai return being a "simple affair for most people".
  2. Mike I asked you in the tax guide thread to confirm if one should be looking at only the PND 90 if no Thai income from employment and not the PND 91. You have mentioned that you have filed on a number of occasions so can I ask which you used?
  3. I could ask why you were in the far right lane knowing you had to turn left.......... I presume you mean Bangchak? I guess you forgot the petrol station directly opposite where you come off the 7....oh yes, you were in the wrong lane.........
  4. So just to be clear anyone not working here (being paid in Thailand) and if wishing to declare whatever funds they remit here should be using PND 90?

    Physio Therapy 2024

Perhaps you can list who you have tried - which may at least help others? The ones I am aware of - Russian guy who was in Centre Condo - a friend went there and thought he was good but this was before Covid. Clinic on 3rd Road which is just past Tonys gym etc on the same side - was mentioned in an older thread There used to be a practice at Diana Driving range but not sure if still there.
  6. Don;t they also fine you an amount for late payment? I was a few days late once on a motor cycle and had to pay a few extra baht. if so he isn't going to be able to avoid paying for the current period unless as you say he just leaves it perpetually.......
  7. Thanks for the link - Not as simple as you are alluding however - Comprehensive article on NRLS https://www.alanboswell.com/news/guide-to-non-resident-landlord-scheme-nrls/ NRL1 https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/non-resident-landlord-application-to-have-uk-rental-income-without-deduction-of-uk-tax-individuals-nrl1 I have been doing this but you still pay the tax on it all be it now twice per year based on a tax return.
  8. It used to be 100 baht - I paid that years ago when I first did a reclaim on tax withheld on interest and I claimed for 2 years......
  9. I thought you had to take them down and personally file at a revenue office..........? Even if not I personally would not trust in posting such a document but that is just me.
  10. Article from the Register following Seagate announcement and WD apparently have already said the same - https://www.theregister.com/2024/04/23/seagate_hdd_prices/
  11. Well I filled in one for years without ever adding Tha tax residency to it and it was never queried even though they have my address here....... More recently adding in Thailand I still did not give a TIN and again not asked for so not sure you can say it is "required".
  12. I remember watching that in the UK when it came out. I thought it was good (then) but my memory of it is that it was very dark. The theme tune is very memorable.
  13. Could you not just change the default USB configuration in Developer Options to No data transfer - depending on Android version and software......?
  14. I only have to look at your title thread to see it is misleading. Are you talking one of the countries currencies or crypto - because if the former you may be better putting it on the 4.30 at Kempton......
  15. yes the price of oil being a classic example - and I am not referring just to the fuel for transport.
