https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/our-work/topics/parliament-and-constitution/general-elections The last UK general election was held Thursday 4 July 2024, with the Labour Party winning a commanding majority. The next general election must be called by August 2029, however the prime minister can choose to hold it at any point before this. Hope this helps a few misinformed members on here. -

Ricky Jones,not guilty.
No, not "two-tier" justice at all. Jones was acquitted by a juror. Connolly pleaded guilty and her sentence was upheld on appeal. Had Connolly gone to trial, she too might have been acquitted. -
