Went to Phuket office to extend a 90 day medical visa..Was asked by the official in charge why don't i go back to america for treatment...(i have stage iv cancer)..since my Dr. is in Bangkok they would only give me a 10 day extension..

So instead of starting 3 month chemo at samitivej I will take his advice and go home and not waste my time with <deleted> at immigration again...(this is the 2nd time they have insulted me about being here for treatment)...

I sympathize with your plight. I was released from shoulder surgery, had a letter in Thai from a Thai doctor, still on pain medication, wearing proper clothing, and presented the doctor's letter to the lady. She read the letter (which was very current) and still insisted on seeing my wounds. Not having all my wits about me, I only took off my shirt while in front of many people, but I should have dropped my trousers as well, to show her the knee wounds.
