She tried several adresses so far and never get happy.

Go to West One Salon in Central, Level 2; ask for George. Not cheap but worth it.

I can't take the credit for discovering him as it was one of Donna's posts that led me there but I haven't looked back!

you took the words right out of my mouth ausladyinpatong. george is wonderful. i have just been in bangkok after spending the best part of over a year in phuket. EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE has commented on my hair. from friends, to tuk tuk drivers, to the lady selling toast and coffee in the street.

George is good although another option is Tik from Tik and Toe Salon near Kow Rang. The address is 151 Patipat Road, Phuket Town and telephone number is 076 234959. They are closed on Tuesdays. Also they are very busy over the weekends as he is very popular amongst the Thai weekday office workers.

Has anyone tried the Tony and Guys in Central, even just for cuts, etc .. are they any good?

I'm glad to know that I will have an outlet there for my services. I will be in Phuket at the end of August for only 2 weeks this time. I might be able to do some Haircuts while I am there. But unfortunately, I don't think that I will have enough time to find any supplies to do Highlights then. I'm only there for a short time to continue setting up my new home.

does tik do decent highlights (not the weak clairol blonde turns your hair orange to yellow), and how much does he charge. thanks. george's taking the piss.

Tik does excellent highlights properly and his prices are very reasonable in comparison to the other decent/top hairdressers.

i know there are not brothers was kidding
