June 30, 200719 yr We're not ignoring you: I think it's just that no-one really knows the answer. Perhaps hang on in there for someone who does. Scouse.
June 30, 200719 yr Even the Burmese immigration website doesn't have the info. The people you need to contact is the consulate or embassy you will be obtaining the visa from.

The last time I was there the answer I got was a NO. All they were issuing was a 1-day visa. All the people with longer visa got it from abroad. I'm not sure if you can traver overland wherever you want because some places where closed unless you got a special permit and armed escort (that country isn't a democracy where you can move freely). My advice is to look in thornetree and ask... g.
July 4, 200719 yr i think it should be possible to enter either Victoria Point(from Ranong), or Mae Sai(if u contunue by flight inland)(or stay in that area), but once u still plan to get the visa, embassy should be the ones telling you, so U can enlighten all of us instead !
