I know I should have done this before but I want to get a breakdown recovery service for my truck (new baby now). I'd like some comparisons but it has to check out and not just be for show.

Online stuff would be great.

Hoping someone can recommend their service or point me in the right direction. Cheers.

Thanks but crap website. I've emailed them for stuff they should have on their half hearted, broken public website !

Agreed - the website is crap, but their service has certainly helped me . . . . .

crap website, but excellent service. Their premium plan which costs very little will entitle you to a free hire car when more than 100km from home in the event of a significant breakdown.

Used them a couple of times ourselves.

We are now into our 4th year of membership with CWC. My wife has called them out 4 times during that period, two flat tyres (one at home, one in shopping mall car park), one defunct battery (at home) and one burst water hose (on the road). 10 out of 10 on every occasion and annual fee is very good value for peace of mind. :o

On the Thai version it says that the VIP membership is 1990 and the standard membership is 990. Is this per year or per month?

per annum..................VIP includes home visits ........ :D:o

Interesting - this posting has lead to this company getting several new customers - I may even include myself.......hail the power of Thai Visa!

It makes you wonder what bad reports on a business on this site might have....

Just to let you know that if you have a Kaisikorn Credit card, they will discount the VIP policy 20% bringing it down about Bt400.

You can get such a card with an internet visa card linked to your savings account with Kaisikorn.
