Foreigners under 60 should not get the vaccine b/f the over 60 crowd… Now you have foreigners who have gotten their 2 shots of Sinovac and or Zeneca trying to get a third shot of pfizer b/f many over 60 foreigners haven’t gotten their first pfizer shot what a sad commentary on human selfishness - pathetic.

Volume has been at an all time low recently… will go back to normal if and when the pandemic ends… This is how it should always be…

First “it’s push comes to shove” you must have it in the account for at least 3 months at the time (date) you apply at immigration… at CM, I have not known them to check on the date you go back in to pick it up. This usually is 30 days give it take a day from the date you applied. who knows if they check it again during the 30 day under review but that would mean a phone call call to the bank…what would that accomplish as long as you have it in the account for 90 days prior to the day of application the bigger question is checking again on the date you get the stamp of approval. The approval has already been done in Bangkok so I don’t think you are in any legal violation on the date you go in to receive your stamp as this is at a minimum now 120 days from the date of applying… never heard of a case in CM of immigration asking for proof again on pick up day given that you successfully met their requirements when they received your application

Will she now trade the stolen gold to get her damaged car back? you don’t need to steal if she is driving around in a car…sell the car and take Uber

It would help if they would communicate with expats who are waiting for their pfizer vax appointments in CM….

For this vaccination program, your visa status dictates whether you qualify or not. your wife is a Thai citizen in thailand since she did not activate her US passport in thailand…she might be an American national globally but that has no standing in thailand…she resides in thailand as a Thai citizen not as a foreign national - quite easy to prove… my daughter is Thai here (as defined by Thai immigration) and an American in usa for perks… it’s all determined by you on which passport you wish to enter thailand…you alone determine your standing. You had a choice…

The poster said he has an OA marriage visa… I believe no such animal… Yes, of course O visas are obtained from many Thai consulates around the world. Who said otherwise? What I am saying is one came in with an O visa (usually 90 days) and if you want to extend it to a marriage or a retirement visa, that occurs inside the country…an OA visa is gotten outside the country and definitely not called a marriage visa at that point of application

The current situation in bkk requires full 14 day quarantine irregardless of your vaccination status… thailand needs the light to go off and allow fully vaccinated people to enter w/o quarantine…if not, volume entry numbers will never exist…

An OA visa is gotten initially outside the country. It is not a marriage visa which is an O visa gotten inside thailand… when they request your visa stamp, they are requesting your current visa extension stamp by immigration once a year not your original visa that you got in your most likely home country… your original visa stamp which takes up an entire PP page could be years old as one keeps extending annually with a Thai immigration stamp…easy to follow the history of your annual visa extensions in your PP. All they want to see is your current valid visa extension stamp from Thai immigration.

Come after January 1st….it might be much less hurdles to get over the Thai economy is in the tank…gov just has to start relaxing stuff soon or it’s permanently over many locals

Got, I see motorcyclists on their phones all the time while driving…probably worse in cars hidden from view by their illegal tinted windows… speed kills and my educated guess is the PU driver caused their deaths…when a semi makes a u turn, all the driver can come up with is he can’t remember - yeah b/c he wasn’t paying attention to situational awareness (at all times) and driving like he was the only one on the road…you see it every fricking day here

Great to lower to 7 days but to control where they can go for the next 7 days is a joke…this is no longer about public health and disease prevention but dictating and promoting selected tourism sites… why not CM or Pattaya? Maybe they live there and want to go home….enough if this BS control to promote tourism and trying to turn it into a cash cow beyond 7 days….

I say withhold his vaccination for such stupidity….the rules are clear put him on the 30 day exemption and make him leave the country and start the whole process from his home country…. where is he going to do his quarantine?

Mfd, my first task as an administrative resident out of graduate school was to the run the off site flu vaccination program for 2 million members over the size greater than thailand…. if the Thais approach it like you described, I wonder why they are overwhelmed with the task…you are not sending out an email separately to each person… I was able to send out one letter with specific information that covered all 2 million eligible members… you do it with specific locations specific dates and specific blocks of time… the wrong approach is to prioritize one member over another, to give specific date and time for each member… every registered member needs the shot so one is no different than the next… I will say it again, from a planning, communication and coordination perspective, this is NOT rocket science as you are trying to make it out to be….it is NOT complicated with some high level thought and the know how to use your available resources…

Again after 10 minutes of talking said nothing useful or specific other than you will be contacted about details in the future if registered… we are talking about 44k people…it’s not a big population to manage… please show some effective project management skills….
