Why are Pizza's in Thailand the same price as UK

They have to pay silly wages in UK, here they give them peanuts but still silly prices, rather eat Thai anyway, the cost of large pizza here 499 baht, enough for 2, thai BBQ buffet 149 baht enough for 3 and better food.

If your in Pattaya, dont bother with Samet, you have koh larne, you can see the weather as is the same as Pattaya, its 40 mins on the ferry and I think 40 baht, maybe 50, Samet you have to pay 200 baht as its a national park and lately most things are as expensive as Bangkok, beer, rooms, no girls so at least no hassle, I saw at the sea food stall, 5 prawns for 300 baht, medium sized red snapper 400 baht, way over the top, foot massage 300 baht on the beach.

And you go all that way and its pouring, at least with Koh Larne you can see the clouds, also Jomtien is an ok Beach.

All the local papers as well as TV & Radio are all bloody adverts anyway.

Of course the great thing about Thailand is we all have the choice of whether to come or not as well as listen to all the cynics and nit pickers

Why do people come to Thailand and want it to be like where they come from, but they leave where they come from because of how it is, then want it to be the same, a few bits of trash, wow, how aweful

A little dangerous I think is not really, just have to be careful of course but that goes for all of Pattaya, soi baukao with all its new hotels and go go bars is a great area and many side roads with good guesthouses such as lk metro, soi Diana and soi chayapoon well run and good rates.

Incidentally there are 67 go go's in this area now and more coming soon.

OOPS yes I meant 6 or 7, there is Oasis, Champagne, Baby Boom, (not recommended as very poor) Mash, The Office, Submarine, Kiss, and Sugar Sugar, and a few more in the pipeline, I also heard from a Pal who runs a Walking street go go that his consortium are looking to buy a largish building in soi Chayapoom and making into a Go Go.

There is a big sign on the left after third road going toward Sukhumvit on Pattaya Tai for an acupuncturist its the soi by the Cat office I think, .

Another alternative to acupuncture could be a four channel tens machine, you can use the same points and do it at home at your convenience. Worked for me after one year of pain so bad from L3 and L4 that I could not even walk three meters.

There's another place further up Pattaya Tai at the big crossroads ( Soi Bongkai,Khopai ??),it's an Englishman ( Nigel ? ) who was in the Army or something,he's seriously good and knows what he's doing.

Yes Nigel was the British weight lifting team Physio back along and is well talked about for his expertise in his field, don't know his number but if you go up South Pattaya road from say 2nd road past Friendship supermarket through the lights, continue on about 300 yards on from the traffic lights and on the left a small turning, has a 7/11 on the left corner, turn left there and almost immediately his shop is on the right.

Best bet is to go to Pattaya and search around and avoid the estate agents as they are after a big cut.

Just go round the condo blocks in areas you like to buy and there in the lobby are boards with many places for sale with photos and phone numbers

Depends on exact location and empty or running business.

Soi Bauhkao probably 5 mill empty but not many are, a few that are bad condition would be around that, they maybe asking more but in reality will not get it, soi off bauhkao I know that the single shop house on soi Chaiyapoon, next door to Crazy Dave's ( on the righht as you look at CD's) sold 18 months ago for 4.5 empty and it was renovated completely, that was free hold.

I beleive Crazy Dave's is actually on the market at a Crazy Dave price and has been for some time but I think it needs a lot of work on it.

Up further in Chaiyapoon there is a double shop house for sale and someone told me the asking was 10 mill so that can be negotiated and then a lump for renovation but good location, a couple of running businesses on LK Metro such as the billabong is for sale at a very high price someone said, sorry not sure the price, again good location.

Thing to do in this rapidly improving area is to do your homework and get your self about there, I know a go go owner from Walking street is looking for the rihght deal and ready to dive in as the walking street rates are way over the top and the bauhkao area is going to be the next walking street.

There is one in Jomtien called beer & queer

Taxi drivers all over the world try it on, some not all, no different here.

I would think a good half of them are on a power mission, I say that because I have seen it change guys into idiots who brag about the perks, the free girls, drinks etc, some go OTT and get slung out and some loose friends over it.

Some who do it right are an asset to the cause.
