A little dangerous I think is not really, just have to be careful of course but that goes for all of Pattaya, soi baukao with all its new hotels and go go bars is a great area and many side roads with good guesthouses such as lk metro, soi Diana and soi chayapoon well run and good rates.
Incidentally there are 67 go go's in this area now and more coming soon.

Theres a little shop at the beginning of Soi Buakhow, the Pattaya Klang end, its only about 10 yards along. I was impressed with there service.
Yeah, I believe the guy's name is Jack and he comes highly recommended on various Pattaya Forums.
I took a good watch there and it was sent away for a part and never worked again, the part was for the strap.
They said solly mister.

Dont agree sorry, I was stopped today, very polite copper as was I, he asked for my licence, I showed him, thank you Sir and off I went, been stopped many many times in 10 yrs, had a couple opportunities to bung a couple hundred and go, quite a few more times not accepted and off to soi 9 to pay the fine.
As for your mate working, they do have problems with falang working even silly little things but there is normally an underlying reason why, another bar owner I know got done for not paying taxes, he got a 30K baht fine, got the right Ump he did, I'll show he said, didnt pay the next year, 100K fine, needless to say he is on his arse now.
Yes there is corruption but not as bad as you will hear.

Nikko you obviously have some ulterior motive, are yoiu selling condo's some where else or just someone who takes photos of the worst case scenarios and posts a load of rubbish to support it.
There is no sewerage goes into the water in or near Pattaya coast, do you really believe that, if you do your dafter than you sound, there is a bit of a problem with a small area near the beer gardens on beach road where a lot of drainage water enters and bags and bottles washed into the storm drains come out there.
Your posts in the main are rubbish, I was in Jomtien watching the beach cleaners as they do every day raking up what the tide brings in, no big deal, same as Pattaya beach they pick up most of the rubbish and a bit comes over on the tide from Koh larne Island, I mean your not going to drink the \water are you, its perfectly ok to swim in.

Pattaya'S "Uncleanliness"
in Pattaya
Makes me laugh how people winge and notice a few plastic bags laying around and few drain smells, much rather be in uk where is all nice and clean and lovely, just the Government S*^#*ing on you from a great hight while your paying for their extravagances.
OH and bloody crap weather too.
