Does Trump completely lack decency and compassion?
WorriedNoodle replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
What do you expect? He has already proven himself during his previous tenure by throwing toilet rolls to storm ravaged survivors in Puerto Rico and re-drawn national government weather maps with his own marker pen in the oval office to explain his erroneous tweets on a hurricane path! -
Let's stat with... 1. Starmer was head of the CPP. 2. Labour just voted against an inquiry. Utter nonsense and you know it. Starmer’s association with the grooming cases as CPP occurred over a decade ago, and the cases were investigated and prosecuted under his watch. Despite this, he is still being targeted by far-right groups and politicians today for political reasons. By bringing up the grooming scandal today, Elon Musk with his tools and other social media bedroom warriors are trying to cast doubt on his handling of the grooming cases and tarnish his reputation and ultimately undermine support for the Labour Party who were otherwise not in power and in opposition during the whole period.
-
This all sounds a bit ridiculous and extremist anti Starmer driven by social media gurus and bedroom 'fact checking' warriors. Fact is this story is over a decade old, perps have been jailed, inquiries were already held and that the last Tory government didn't act on all the findings is the fault of the current 6 months in power government why exactly?

Do you really believe any of the words spoken? He/his team use words like “alternative facts”, “bigly” and he tweets “covfefe” in the early hours of the morning. You can make sense of these words?

Thaksin Under Fire: Racist Remarks in Chiang Rai Spark Outrage
WorriedNoodle replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
We've all come across racist bigots mouthing off from bar stools and the like, but where do you draw the line on the right to spout such on public platforms at government rallies? Absolutely anything is fare game for you, or do you have some boundaries? -

Scrutinizing BBC Verify: A Record of Errors and Omissions
WorriedNoodle replied to Social Media's topic in World News
This says a lot about the perspective of you, rather than necessarily offering an objective assessment of the BBC's performance. "Woke" is a term that can mean different things to different people, but it is often used as a pejorative term by those who feel that progressive social media have gone too far and labeling something as "woke" can be a way of dismissing any content that challenges traditional values or perspectives of your own conservative demographic more than a modern day majority. -
Scrutinizing BBC Verify: A Record of Errors and Omissions
WorriedNoodle replied to Social Media's topic in World News
This is a bit extreme and absurd to think like this. While the BBC does receive public funding through the license fee, and it has faced criticism for bias or lack of impartiality from various sides of the political spectrum, it would be unfair to paint it as solely a propaganda tool of any one ideology or political party as you are doing. The BBC has been in operation for nearly a century and has weathered many changes in government, socialist and capitalist. During that time, it has produced a vast array of content, some of which may have been perceived as more favorable to certain political viewpoints than others. -
Unfortunately, some people who are against vaccines are often basing their beliefs on misinformation and conspiracy theories, rather than on evidence-based research and expert recommendations. COVID-19 is a real disease that has caused over 6.6 million deaths worldwide, which is hardly a "fake nothing-burger." Try telling those who lost close family and friends to the disease it was nothing.

Can anyone explain to me why there are cannabis shops everywhere?

OCD or anxiety issues perhaps? -
What is this nonsense you scribe and say you have "learned as a part of occupational requirements"? CPR is not not something a person who has stopped breathing or has no pulse is likely to sue over whilst preferring to wait on emergency services. Its a life saving technique anyone can learn that is applied during the wait for medical professionals to arrive.

We can agree on your one point that "do not know". There is nothing to argue about. The science has concluded everything since before you were born. An ellipsoid is a necessary approximate shape used to derive mathematical computations on the earth surface as used in map projections, and any of several ellipsoids can be used for that approximation. The actual earth shape is that of an irregular shaped ellipsoid with no mathematical formula possible, it is just a three dimension point position model that has been revised over time as more data is collected. That model is called the geoid.
-
That's not 'more accurate' at all, its complete nonsense. The shape is an irregular geoid end of. People have done post graduate studies on this.
-
Its none of those. Its a geoid.

Such a shame you limit yourself to opinions of only one political bias? Why not open your mind? Some helpers below: Several media watchdog organizations, including AllSides and Ad Fontes Media, have rated the New York Post as having a right-leaning bias, meaning that its coverage tends to favor conservative viewpoints and perspectives. This bias can be seen in the types of stories the New York Post chooses to cover, the language it uses in its reporting, and the opinion pieces it publishes. While it's important to note that every news outlet has some degree of bias, the New York Post is generally not considered a neutral or unbiased source of news and information. Of course, it's always a good idea to consume a variety of news sources with different political leanings in order to get a well-rounded understanding of current events and issues.
