  1. You can thank Trump. From Irans point of view a case of once bitten twice shy. From Iran's perspective, the US withdrawal from the JCPOA was a major breach of trust and demonstrated that the US was not a reliable partner in international negotiations. Besides that the US would never get enough votes to reestablish what Trump had withdrawn from. This is what you can expect from a disprupter president.
  2. The accounts I hold, some are in Europe and the USA, also went thro KYC compliance a few years ago, but I don't plan to go around all my accounts updating my info until they ask for it when I get a new pp.
  3. The idea that Ukraine should beg for terms, implying surrender, is not only insensitive but also disregards the ongoing suffering and loss of life that Ukrainians have endured since the start of the conflict. It's essential to consider the human cost of the war and the importance of Ukraine's sovereignty. Furthermore, implying that people who support Ukraine's right to defend itself don't care about the lives of soldiers is both incorrect and offensive. The conflict is undoubtedly tragic, and many people do care deeply about the lives of those involved, which is why finding a resolution that respects Ukraine's right to self-determination and protects its people is so important. It's crucial to approach discussions about the war with empathy and understanding, rather than making sweeping and insensitive statements that dismiss the complexity of the situation and the lives affected.
  4. How in any sensible persons thinking terms is that luck? Unless you are a Putin whore?
  5. Is Thailand unusual in requiring this? All other countries I have accounts have verified ones identity at the time of account opening so a subsequent new passport would not change anything.
  6. Playing the old political card nonsense again in your subject title? In the US, the Federal Reserve, independent from the White House, has been pursuing a strategy of keeping interest rates high in order to reduce inflation, even if it means that unemployment may rise as a result. The Fed has forecasted that the unemployment rate could rise to 4.4% in the coming year, which would imply that an additional 1.2 million people could lose their jobs. So this is all in their plans.
  7. Its obviously proving a challenge for many Trump supporters to grasp. That a persons looks, ethnicity and skin are such a decisive issue for them that they think shes a fraud when their are so many other things in life to worry about.
  8. You cannot teach an old dog new tricks. Look at @renaissanc above thinks he's been renewing his marriage visa for 40 years 🙂
  9. Lines that could have been straight out of the extremists playbook. Just gobbing off manure all day long without a basis of fact hoping enough sticks. People see through it.
  10. The main difference is it is a more modern secure operating system, one that you should be already using to keep up with latest security features (Win10 offered free upgrades to Win11). In terms of ease of use, Win11 is easier too.
  11. You left your pp at an agents office because you cannot remember to do a 90 day report on time? Cons - leaving your pp with anyone risks getting it lost. Why not just do the reports yourself and keep your pp with you at all times like most people do?
  12. By you perhaps if you had the chance? Most Thais believe in karma and this lowlife is going to find out about it.
  13. The go-to paragraph for any Thai journalist worth his salt in this day and age.
  14. So you are advocating a culling?
  15. Loads of young people already do voluntary work - this hasn’t occurred to the Tories purely because they would never do anything like that themselves. Frankie Boyle said that.
  16. I completely misread the title when I saw the photo of all those LED screens. I wonder how many the sniper took out during the operation?
  17. At least we can be thankful he didn't start singing like in his Philippine series last year. That would have you gagging for the vomit bucket.
  18. Not familiar with "wireless withdrawals". Sorry, I mean cardless withdrawals....
  19. I don't like them either, but they do now accept foreinger KYC docs verification again. I tried it and it tokk 2 weeks. I doubt I will use them however, once bitten twice shy and all that.
  20. If you have a Bangkok Bank account already why not just do wireless withdrawals at their ATMs?
