Dtac aggressive marketing campaign?!
MJCM replied to problemfarang's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I think it's (maybe) because of the True / Dtac merger. Moved recently to AIS after being a DTAC Customer for over 11 years! -
You mean shopee? If so, haven't seen it. But must say do not order much via Shopee! (95% Lazada 5% Shopee)

In our area Flash is really struggling getting delivery drivers. We have a Flash "depot" approx 4kms from our home, but most of the deliveries we get (even a small package) comes with a pickup from the Main City in the area and that takes at a minimum a day extra for delivery!
-
I wouldn't mind to pay the extra fee to use Kerry instead of the Others (oke Flash is also good, but doesn't come near Kerry with speed etc) if Lazada would give us the option to choose the delivery company! There is one company out there (won't mention the name) that is absolutely taking the .... when it comes to delivery. Each time a seller uses this company the both of us get a "oooh no not again". They call and they immediately hang up and then a Message comes in the Lazada app, recipient asked to re-schedule or recipient can't be reached ???????????? or another trick they pull, they call and say "ooh I misread the label and it's not on my route, will have another driver deliver it tmrw. Next day (sometimes) same ......... driver calls! Because of this 1 company we are ordering a lot less. Edit: I (and my wife in Thai) complained a lot to Lazada about this company and my wife who doesn't get mad easily but when that company called, they really got a mouthful from her.

Lots of it in the back and not a lot in the front (this is what a plumber friend told me)

Something for our next build

1 issue with that, some tanks have plastic "thread" (yes they exist) and those galvanized fittings will for certainly (if done too tightly) mess them up.
-
I will talk to my Handy man tmrw but I guess he will have doubts because there is not a lot of "meat" in between to have a tight fit!
-
Thx I hope it will solve the problem for the OP as well! I am desperate and 190 THB for a solution would be great, as I already bought the stuff to remove it from the "line"
-
Thx, but how can you sand it, if it's in a joint. And will that pipe wrap be able to solve it as again it's in a Joint! I have ordered a roll (145 THB plus 45 THB shipping) because for our problem I am ready to isolate the tank and just fill it manually and use it as a spare!
-
I have on each and every tank (21 of them)! But to be able to get the PVC in real good, you have to be able to budge the PVC and from my experience if you do that to hard you will get more leaks then you originally had! The problem for us is that installer didn't leave much room for error because the existing PVC is just not enough to replace this (unfortunately) When I am building again, I will put stop valves also on the left and right hand side of the in-flowing pipe so I can properly isolate a Faulty tank Edit: Red arrow is where the leak is, and the white gloss you see is that Sealer from my 1st post!
-
For me, it's impossible to do (can't speak for the OP) We have one of those leaks in the joint in one of our water tanks. To replace that joint we have to remove the water from all the water tanks so you are able to "shove" the PVC back in after replacing it. With water in the tanks that is impossible to do unfortunately!
-
I have tried a lot of things on that, what works best is the inner bicycle tube, but that works absolute best if you have a leak in a straight pipe. It must be wrapped really tight on there, but because of it's on a joint, absolutely no guarantee.! And it needs replacing ever so often if in direct sunlight! Edit: I have used this, but this will only work if there is NO water (dry)

Or just put in traffic lights, ooh wait traffic lights and speeding lorries. Just yesterday coming back from the City, waiting at the traffic light, light for us turned to green, and it was already 2-3 seconds green for us and when looking left I saw a truck at full speed went through the red lights without a hint of slowing down. Fortunately the Motor Bike drivers that were in front of us saw it also, else they would have been another SAD statistic of how unsafe Thai Roads are.

As I am a real fan of Smoked Mackerel / Salmon etc and I have NO .... idea how to start or even which Smoker to get. So please any info you can share. For example Would something like this do?? https://www.lazada.co.th/products/diy-smoker-bbq-grill-round-charcoal-stove-outdoor-bacon-portable-barbecue-grills-40x80cm-i3870586583-s14809259532.html Thx in advance
