  1. ..........

Much much better than the other internet I had previously, and the customer service was awful, i telephone 5 times, and no one came out to help, but they seemed very interested when i went into cancel my package this AM.

They are very happy to see someone go and give that capacity (for the time being) to someone else. (Sounds like a Ponzi Scheme :whistling:)

  2. They actually mention this in the Service book (page 37) (PJS GT 2011)

Normal Use: Every 10000 KM change Oil and oil filter

Heavy Use: Every 5000 KM change Oil and oil filter

Edit : // Added Scan (Hope you can read it, as it's not very clear)

  3. I've been using EM solution at one tablespoon per 1000 liters once every month and have noticed a definite improvement in the water quality. This isn't drinking water of course but used in showers, kitchen etc.

EM = Effective Micro-organisms. Organic. Yeah...the same stuff--or similar--that's been in the news lately (to treat polluted floodwater)...

You can use bleach or chlorine also.

Where can you buy this EM solution ?

    Thanks :jap:

  4. Maybe I have this wrong, but aren't you supposed do your border crossing at the end of your first 60 days and then at the end of the next 60 go to immigration to have it extended the final 30?

You can extend a Tourist Visa every time after the 60 day (1 entry) runs out, that makes it an effective stay of around 90 days (for each entry)

Each extension costs 1900 Baht at an Immigration Office.

You only need to do a border run when the 90 days run out to activate another entry. (If the visa is still valid)

  5. Can someone please explain the difference between: "What if" and "What about if" ?

    :jap:

Let's forget the pissing competition and get back on track and help this guy with his request jap.gif

    Agreed

LennyW's post is a very good start in pointing the OP

  6. A 38 magnum definitely.

After it vaporizes the gecko, the ricocheting bullet bouncing around the concrete walls of your abode will surely eliminate an over-reactive perpetrator as well. whistling.gif

So actually you are ridiculing me? Perhaps you can suggest something bigger than a 38 magnum! On of those 50caliber 5-mile-range sniper rifles?

I have a few of those sitting in my bedstand beside my huge collection of handguns.

Being Canadian, naturally I was raised on buying armaments by the pound. B)

Is this a picture of your computer room, if you have a couple of those sniper rifles at your bedstand ?

  7. Where possible buy a house that is already in a company name ............

And what about if the government starts to crack down on these kind of Company's ? (Company's that only exist to buy a House)

You maybe forced to sell at a loss or worse .....

Are you talking by experience???? ...where do you get your information from? and or do you happen to be one of the renting brigade I mentioned ????? do you actually live in Thailand ? or are you just one of the many doom and gloom brigade who frequent TV ?

I live here and own a Condo and 2 Houses (in my wife's name) and I said "What if"

    Edit: //

  10. As for ordering beer, just how difficult is it to say Leo,Singha et al??

    whistling.gif

Very difficult for 90% of the expats I meet LOL ...... they pronounce it totally wrong.

    W

    Indeed.

Heavy stress on the second syllable of Leo.

    And Sing.

Said that without moving my lips, no pm jokes please.

I guess it depends where you live. Without fail when I have ordered a Sing in Pattaya, the waiter confirms it by "correcting" me by saying Sing-HA. Hilarious, eh? (So why bother.)

Official Name is indeed Sing-HA, but all Thai's also know it as Sing. (So the waiter was just .....)

Same thing with M-150 (M Roy Ha Sip) all Thai's know what you mean if you say M-100 (M Roy) or even M-300 (M Saam Roy, if you want 3 bottles

  11. I think, that when Chang gets it's supply chain back on track again, this beer will go as quickly as it came

Interesting. I don't think they should drop it as it is something different.

Have you ever seen this beer in your local 7/11 before the Floods disrupted the supply chains ? I haven't..

But indeed, I wouldn't mind if they keep it on, but I like the Chang Classic better. :burp:

  12. If you want to buy a Nissan, take the time to make a trip to the Nissan dealer in Rayong ( road # 36) and will not be dissapointed.I can't speak about current time as production might be dissrupted by the floods, but normally they hold a large stock of the popular models, while in Pattaya you will have to wait for weeks or months.

When I bought my Navara, now 20 months ago,it made a difference of more than 30.000 Baht on the best conditions I could get in Pattaya and delivery within 1 week ( any colour or version I wanted) while in Pattaya it would take 5 weeks at least. They weren't even able to show me a Navara.

Before buying from this dealer, please read this post from the Motor Forum
