"Surf, how can you have 97 Channels ??"
Not sure, but possibly because it's a new digital LED Panasonic TV? (just guessing)
When it scanned, it went up to 120 channels and numbered each usable channel it found sequentially from 1 to 67. The 44th channel it found was Bloomberg, which it shows on the display query as channel 97.
A mystery to me -- my PCTV Tuner found channels on Sophon in a completely different number scheme from the Panasonic.
.
I just did a scan on two different tv sets (LG & Samsung) and they both came up with the same number (79 in total) and both found Bloomberg on 29. Could it be that this is Pattaya area dependent ??? I'm in between Central Road and North Road. Or maybe you have a way too advanced TV for Sophon too handle
-
They seem to have stayed around the same price since I bought mine 6 years ago, about the only difference was they threw in the bed liner.
We paid our money and drove out the door with it, no waiting.
Haven't been able to fault it in 6 years, runs like a dream, economical and you can get at least 10 inlaws in the back.
Just wait till you drive a Toyota Vigo Auto, you could be in heaven.
Yesterday in Pattaya I saw a Vigo V8 (with Bangkok Plates), not sure if it was real it sounded like one though

"I can't find Bloomberg Business"
On my TV Bloomberg shows up on channel 97 under the new scheme -- On my PCTV Tuner, it's disappeared completely -- I think the PCTV is only capable of 60 channels, where the TV can receive up to 120 channels.
.
Surf, how can you have 97 Channels ?? I just did a new scan and it ends with 79 Channels in total, where the last couple of channels are of a bad quality

I can't find Bloomberg Business
On my TV (after a rescan) it comes up on Channel 29.

Whats the alternative to Sophon ? Getting fed up with the limited English speaking channels and the content. Due to pay my subscription tomoro 1,800 for 6 months.
Depends where you are mostly, TMN (Thipmanee) BTV (Banglamung TV) are 2 alternatives or the expensive Truevision (TV via satellite)
-
Did you happen to notice a conspicuous lack of soi dogs around the place? Just saying because it was so cheap
-
Anyone notice that the volume levels between channels needs some adjusting ? Some Channels like Nr 2 are way to softly and another ones are way to loud
This is common. You need a TV with automatic volume control.
Will look into that, but nothing has changed since yesterday (only Sophon doing their shuffling) and still the volume is all over the place

Phil, my friend bought a house in Chokchai Greenville (near the Wanasin Market) and the price he had to pay for extra land was 30.000 per TW. This was the same price that was listed in their brochure.

We have to go to Burma to vote ?
If I agree with you, then we both would be wrong

What about a TVs person of the year per Sub Forum ?
I would for example nominate thaicruze or MoonRiverOasis in the Motoring Forum and JT in the Pattaya Forum and Lopburi3 in the Thai Visa Forum

Why are there three massage topics running all of a sudden? Are people feeling the need to be pummelled and poked after Xmas excesses?
Personally I've never had one and don't want one.
Some people seem to be too frugal (cheap) to enjoy a nice massage, possibly they use trees to rub and relax their bodies like bears and elephants.
I've to agree with Darrel on this one, I only had a massage once here and it was so hurtful that I never had a massage again and had to get treated by a Doctor. I paid for the massage 200 THB and for the Doctor in the hospital afterwards 2000 THB. So never again

OMBuddha, grass has gone up to 90 to 100b/m2 because of the flooding in BKK. guess i'll have a wait a while to green up my garden.
Yes, I also found that out last Saturday, as I went and try to order grass for my new house / lawn. Here in Pattaya, they quoted my wife (inclu. everything) 130 THB per M2
They advised her to wait around 2 months for the price to come down to a more reasonable level

thanks all for your answers and worries about the rear view camera. I just thought in most SUV's in that class it should be included and as a freebie why not, so I negotiated to have it for free. I am not sure what the problem is with the camera and that particular Chevy shop but I called yesterday three Chevy dealers and the installation is not a problem, all original GM parts and instruction to install is there. Price for the camera and installation is around 15,000 Baht. So I told the sales guy if they give 15,000 discount they could forget about the camera, I could always get it later on. Anyway they confirmed a few hours later that they will give me 15k discount. So I am all ok and will have my car by Friday.
In the very beginning I looked for all SUV's available in Thailand, I also checked a few 5 seaters evenso I only wanted to have a 7-seater. But I quickly droped all 5-seaters. It's a shame that Honda doesn't build a nice 7-seater. All the reviews I read about the MU-7 were not that great, also in my opinion it doesn't look that good. With the Pajero Sport, I just could not get friends with that car. The Fortuner is based on the Pick-Up but still a very popular SUV, so I thought this will be the one. I was not happy with the gold-silverish color so, I prefer more the bluish or grey silver color, while the darker grey was a bit to shadily so that was another thing. And also the Fortuner does not have a lumbar supported driver seat for my bad back
. But the Chevy has he he he. So in the end I think I am ok with the change to the Captiva.
Yes and I agree to wandrinstar, it is really one of the best looking SUV's out there in Thailand at the moment. As for Diesel or not, I do not drive that much per year that it will really benefit. I used to drive 30-40k a year but no more. In the last couple of years it was not so much. I do more kms on my motorbikes then on the car. But with that goodlooking Crossover SUV I might add a few kms here and there and go to the countryside to explore the beauty of Thailand by car.
Good for you, that you bought the car you wanted, that's the most important thing.
But what do you mean by this ?
...........
With the Pajero Sport, I just could not get friends with that car.

Maybe it's first a good idea to look at System Requirements for Ie9 before you decide to upgrade

Sophon Tv Channel Changes?
in Pattaya
Posted
Thanks Guys, but as usual this was a useless exercise as Sophon did again do a Channel Reshuffle, so that list is not 100% accurate anymore![:(](//forum.thaivisa.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
I will compose a new list but will do it after the new year after Sophon has stopped doing their reshuffling and has gone up to a total of 100 (as promised) Channels.
So stay tuned
And a Happy New Year to you all.
