  1. Presuming you live in Thailand, they actually are not.
  2. Still sore about Brexit?
  3. I somehow don't think so. I get rather a lot of SMS messages that I need to put through the translation. It could well be one of those poor translations that cause head scratching!
  4. PLC? https://maps.app.goo.gl/gaAJAb2NK9ALcVKz6
  5. They gay who catches small birds in the land behind me does well with snares.
  6. Well perhaps they focus on electricity and fuel prices which have gone down. But certainly not items from the BigC shopping cart.... I saw some quite large rises on some of my regular purchases. Likely more to come too with the further weakening baht!
  7. Surely be simpler to make the TV 90 days permission, or even the Visa waiver entry 90 days too.
  8. I think the OP picture says a lot... an EV stationary and plugged in, that is how they spend most of the time..... when not on fire.
  9. I actually started to lodge Thai tax returns some years ago to reclaim the withholding tax on bank interest, which was worth a few bob. Before I qualified for my State pension.... the interest dwindled, and maybe Covid helped the RD to forget to send reminders.. so I got absent minded too!
  10. There's an Australian that has picked up Russian well!
  11. I suspect blank guns that are being sold are deliberately readily convertible to firing live rounds.....one would normally expect them to take your hand off if that was attempted! Since they have all appearance of a real gun the same controls are needed.
  12. I get a few ..... and now and again they even try to persevere in Thai when they have been told I am not Thai speaking..... What do you expect, these people worship trees and deformities and look for lottery numbers in entrails!
  13. You would have looked smarter if you had ignored that post.....there is no reason to mention Covid nor consider the comment if it does!

We got 2 Homepros here and some other big Household suppliers just out of town.....should not be hard to find something.
  15. Wonderful lesson that they can lead the locals around too by their ..... shall we say...libido! Normally Thai men do not have the assets to be targets... and foreigners are popular sponsors, mostly because they spend a lot of time elsewhere. 'More money that sense' fits!
  16. I think it is a great idea.....I can put the alarm SMS through Google Translate as I duck the bullets!

My compliments, I usually lose the will to live after 3 or 4!
  18. Tend to agree....'Ya' being one of the few words I can read in Thai!
  19. In my case, same Moo #, wrong sub-district!
  20. Yeah, a pal of mine cancelled and stopped paying for his cable TV and they took their merry time coming round to cut the wires....
  21. Obviously it can get overlooked.... we do get such conspiracy comments on here, often from relatively new posters. I see it was taken seriously enough to have been removed! Try a laughing emoticon...the one in this post did the job.. I may have been overly susceptible after having my ear bent by a conspiracy nut all the way from Ekamai to Pattaya just the day before.
