No, you failed to read properly. I got the bank letter, yes, and I updated the passbook while at the bank. The agent took the copies. I happened to have a passport photo and they took it, but it was not a requirement. I did not have to fill in the TM7, nor supply the numerous passport and signed copies, no requirement of chanote or residence proof, like a utility bill. No TM 30 proof (always worried about that). But in reality, I simply wanted to avoid going to immigration and standing in line and getting irritated and hot.

Yes sounds like my experience.... stopped off at the bank and got the letter and update on the book.....straight to the agent and they copied the bankbook, took a photo, I gave them the bank letter and a photo I happened to have, paid the fee, and that was it.....oh they wanted my phone number as they called me the following afternoon to say passport ready for collection. Easy

There have been a lot of associations with criminal and criminal gangs who were marked or liked to adorn themselves with tattoos throughout history....from the criminals being transported from Britain to Australia, the Yakuza in Japan, Hell's Angels and of course American gangs. They were available for a spell at my local market .... my Mrs brought them back after spotting them, but I don't think the locals really knew what they were, and they are no longer there.. or perhaps have a short season. I had initially brought some back from a visit to town, complaining about the price, but I still bought them.

I knew quite a few folks who made use of Christmas Day to renew their Extensions if it did not fall on a weekend....I expect today to offer a similar opportunity for a quick and cheerful service. That is nonsense and illogical. The very fact that the infection numbers were kept down in these countries is testament that their methods achieved that. Whether it was the right approach when Omicron came along is a more relevant debate. USA might be an example where mask wearing was poorly followed and over a million died because of it.
