They expect 200,000 fans to turn up for the GP !!  What crap.  Even the Dutch GP doesn't get anywhere near that amount.  I think they have put an extra nought on the real figure.

Chantaburi is an area where a lot of gemstones are bought and sold.  The Indians and Pakistanis are big rip off merchants in all the gem sale areas. That is probably why they are there

Are there enough hotels in Buriram to accommodate the massive crowd that TAT will no doubt say will be going ?  I doubt it from what I have seen.  Cant wait to see the convoy of trucks coming from Bangkok with all the equipment.  Gonna be a logistical nightmare !

Collect it all and put it on the vegetable crops. They will love it.

If they cant keep track of these two people, its no wonder there are tens of thousands of over stayers, many illegal and criminals.  

Go for the big comb over !  Seen lots of Thai men with hair about 25cms long combed over from their ear !  Gives everyone a good laugh, especially when they are stuck on a Skytrain.

Of all the islands around Phuket there is NOTHING worth seeing that makes an expensive day trip worthwhile

Does anyone know if there are any Radio controlled plane clubs or a group of people that fly in the Ubon area ?  I fly planes, helis and jets, and will be moving to Ubon later.

And how many times do you see police bikes parked on the pavements while they sit around smoking and waiting for a tourist to drop a ciggy butt so they can fine them ?

You obviously dont know what happens in Nana area with the black people.  They are only in that area to do illegal business of many kinds.  Go a few Klms away and you will never see a black person. Another factor is that is many tourists drive on the  other side of the road in their country and when they are driving with no other traffic around sometimes go onto what they think is the natural side of the road. There have been many crashes in Thailand for this reason. 

It will never work. There are over 4000 stalls and tens of thousands of people there at the weekend who would have no idea about the new system. They will probably put in about 4 places to buy coupons so you will have to queue up for 3 hours to get one !!  Imagine the chaos at 4 pm on a Sunday when people want to cash in their card !  probably a lot of dodgy money changing hands at the market too.

What about the Immigration scheme whereby tourists can be asked to prove they have more than B20,000 to survive on when entering the country. Surely a lot of the Africans would not have that much 

Should have bought a lot of Thai Baht when it was at 33.  We did cos it was obvious it was never going to go any higher.  Made a lot of money out of it and brought some back to Australia when it dived to 25.  A good investment !!  But lucky too in hindsight as most investment ideas are,

It was recently stated that Thailand paid China US$157 million  for "Technical expertise and training". This reveals the fact that Thai engineers

 have no idea how to build it, thats why they are having a 3 klm practice build.  Bound to be a disaster, or should I say  Trainwreck !

Prayut quoted as saying about sacking Prawit ...... " Its not going to happen, not on my watch !
