A small hole of two centimetres deep was created by the bomb which was found to be Russian-made RGD5 type grenade as its safety pin with serial number erased was discovered at the scene.
Seems like a small hole.

"He asked the EC to investigate and dissolve the party, alleging that Democrats' comments ahead of the February 2 election might have affected Pheu Thai Party's popularity"
Erm, yes. That's what politics is all about.
Errr,,, not sure if I am right here ,,,, But there was NO election on Feb 2nd . .... This man Ruangkrai is a raving looney... suicide is painless.......

The Junta has done countless moves. Where's the Supreme Court? LOL Wait until the election. It will be back to square one.
I would not like to be hanging by my testicles waiting for these "next" elections you are talking about... I hear from a very good source in the civil service the rumour is next elections around 2019... 2020.. thank God time passes quickly.

Of course the Yingluck 3 trillion infracture project was pure wastefulness, well that was the claim the other day, wasn't it?
Now the army approves the same project more or less, so the rightful government's projects get approved after all and quicker than as expected as well.
Soon the army will be asking for guidance from the Shinawatra clan as how to run the country prosperously, after all the country did well economically under Thaksin even if some of you hate to admit it.
Hawk..... can you NOT read ... this 3 trillion bahts will come from the National Budget between years 2015 - 2022. It will not come in the way of a loan.. It will also be transparant for people to look and see where the cash went.. Again NOT the same as Shinewatras monetary dispersal.
Seems that the one born every second is now posting on TV. Now be a good little boy and fly away...!

I have just done a run up to Ban Phu Nam Ron border crossing and again very smooth border crossing and again 30 day stamp.. No problems.. They said its now only 7 days for ASEAN peoples but remains 30 days for G7 member countries and 15 days for other Western countries. Have to pay 900 bahts for this exemption stamp but very easy and smooth. And ,better still. only small ink stamps in my passport pages, NOT one whole page wasted. I travelled up there from Hua Hin left here at 7am and back home all done at 4pm in the afternoon. You can find the number in AWOL. All in all a very pleasant and easy trip. Much easier than Ranong.!

Just make sure you go a bit earlier to the airport to take care of the fine. Be polite, pay up and leave the country. You will receive an overstay stamp in your passport which has no consequences for a future return .............yet.
Carib is right ... go early to the airport. pay the fine and go home..

The original intention of the Village Fund was to allow villagers to borrow small amounts of money (generally up to 10,000baht) to start a small local business such as selling food from a hand cart etc.
However village committees handed it oput to anyone without any checks, and whilst it has to be repaid after 1 year, it is immediately re-0applied for and is back in the hanmds of the villagers after a couple of weeks. Invariably they have to borrow the money to repay (at around 10% interest for the 2 weeks)
If the scheme is stopped (which in my opinion it should be as it serves no useful purpose), villagers will have a very hard time paying back what they owe.
Yes , I agree, but it will be much better to have to re-pay the village fund, than to repay the money-lenders... and what if the small business that the borrower started failed.? Is there some sort of Guarantee system built in.. But is what you are saying, people borrowed the funds for many reasons and not all borrowers tried to start-up a business.. In that case they deserve to be punished... for fraud... and the person at the village fund who signed off on this loan should also be punished.. for being an idiot..!

Astoundingly harsh. Unless that's a misprint it is 2 lines of coke.
One line at my parties...

She gave her open and honest opinion about how she feels about Thailand. Why should she kow down to people that do not like her views? This is the problem now, no one can have a different thought apart from the herder of the flock............not all people are sheep. If I were her I would have kept the title and said F U to the rest of them.
You mean similar to the Army general.
The lady got what she deserved, If i gave my honest and open view about things on here, i would be banned for life. One has to keep one,s gob shut if one is in public. She was a stupid little girly
Yes I agree, she was a tad stupid, however her comments were bang on the button ... and at least her comments opened the eyes of this one blind Farang.... Now, does anyone have her phone number ?

Send them straight back to where they come from. If they want a better life then they, along with their fellow countryman, need to fight for one.
Obviously you are still in that coma.... or you should be... these poor people have been forced into fleeing their home country... have spent every penny they and their famlies could raise to pay the transport fees and pay the border guards in NK. They have travelled in-cognito through China and a long long walk into Laos. The Laos government will send them back to NK if caught there. Then they have another long and dangerous walk through Laos. Then they have to cross the Mekong river to get to Thailand where they thankfully get refugee states. Now they will stay in Bangkok with a Thai charity until a flight can be found for them to go to South Korea and the families that they have Never met... God Bless those poor peoples... and I hope we all wish them lots of luck in their new life...

We don't mention 'Rice Scheme' in our house lest our 2 year old son chucks a hissy fit until someone goes to 7 Eleven and gets him a Magnum.
Why would you give a 2year old a gun..?

I don't know the army are starting to win me over with the way they are scolding the police into actually doing some work
But then you have Prauth talking about the need for kids to learn about "being Thai" more in schools like they haven't all been getting that knocked into their heads since birth
It's based on the Nth Korean model where everyone unconditionally supports little kimmie and the military or else. More brainwashing and the ability to have individual thoughts and feelings has to be removed from Thais then there is be no more Suthep protests and everyone will walk around like robots with exactly the same thoughts.

When one of the inner circle bought a fleet of widebody jets, both my eyebrows raised. And I'm not even in the NACC!
I believe you meant to say "...someone with a very loose connection to Yingluck leased one rather old 737", didn't you?
What ever.....a red man with the ar*e out of his pants at one stage....now getting an international airline of the ground.....certainly not a hard earned "rags to riches" story....I certainly couldn't go otu rent a 737!!
Same story as a certain Police Colonel turned billionaire turned politician who ended up with a phone a network
He was personally almost broke but he had a rich wife.
Lieutenant colonel please..

I think the Dreamliner is a bit better than the A380.
What a strange statement..... how and why do you think that... ask the Japanese what they think of it.. I for one will not fly in one of those planes until they have been in service a while and all the creases are ironed out.. better safe than sorry...

Correct probably a peaceful protester done in by the red shirts. And those were the peaceful protester. Right????
Wearing rose colored glasses?
Certainly not Red tinted glasses...

This is where it departs from being about reconcilation, to becoming a total dictatorship. Bad move to try and stop people giving their views on social media. Even if you disagree with that view. You can't stop people thinking!
Oh yes you can...... just call them Australians.... just joking all you Aussies..!

Disregarding all politics or allegiances, Chatchart Sittipunt did a superb presentation on the infrastructure plan last year at the Conrad hotel.
I do hope the military enlist the right people to advise on these kind of things.
Even if Chatchart cannot assist them, they could at least enroll him in a PR side, he is a great presenter.
I still have the presentation if anyone wants it- at the very least it explains the whole thing in more simplistic terms.
But what's his agenda?
Easy to see..... Many large Thai compaanies have already paid out the huge bribes to certain prominent PTP ministers,, They want their moneys back, He needs to be back in there to try and ensure the said companies hold onto their already paid for contracts because he has already salted away his share... and that was the Lions share as he was the minister. 50% also went across the desert to Big Brother... who will never give back anything. Thats my idea anyways and not much except suicide will change my mind.
