  1. The NACC will not find her guilty either.

This is not to stay that she is not guilty. I just find it hard to believe that she will be allowed fall and the country will be plunged into deeper chaos.

Why do you think the EC is not sending their draft. ? Those inside know that Yinlick has had her chips and is out tomorrow along with many of her ministers .. And the Red Shirts will step-up nothing... They are a spent force... All Hail Suthep The Great..! wai2.gif

  3. So , it seems the way to retire and be happy is to have many daughters who in turn have many daughters who go out in short skirts , hot pants and serve up everything to stupid young males who will give the said grand-daughters all their hard earned cash.. also add some more stupid Farangs, they too easy to give up their cash.. and often marry those loose young girls.. who of course love those old men.. and there we have it.. successful retirement.. But hold on.. thats what happens in Issan already ..! and I thought it was my idea..! cheesy.gif

  4. I just moved to Phuket with my husband of 40 years. Retired here from Australia and I wanted to join a forum that allowed me to connect with the happenings of Thailand. Seems that I may have made a wrong decision after absorbing the political content and seeing what goes on here.

Seems that both sides of politics are terrible examples of democracy.

I came from a state in Australia where Barry O'Farrell resigned as the premier because of a bottle of wine that would be perceived as a bribe. A state where Mike Gallacher has resigned as police and justice minister because of an investigation of his alleged role involving corruption. Everyone agreed they did the right thing.

I may be an old duck, but that comes with old fashioned values. No one in NSW defended the actions of these people for valiantly resigning. In fact the Australia PM commended them for resigning even though Barry was of the same political party as him.

I have only been retired in Thailand for 9 weeks and I already miss Australia as does my husband. We knew nothing of this corruption and the blind defense of it before we came to Phuket.

And with due respect some forum members should be ashamed of themselves for defending the corrupt happenings of either side and respect the law.

My grandson in Australia doesn't respect the law and he says the courts are biased after he went to jail for insider trading. I told him he needs to be accountable and respect the rules lest he find himself in mischief again. He has learnt after 14 months and I hope the people in Thai politics learn too.

    Thanks for listening.

Enid, you come from a country which is easily the most corrupt country in the western world.. if you cannot stand the heat Blah Blah Blah.. and don't forget to take Fido with you..!clap2.gif

" The Pheu Thai executives would also travel up-country to explain the statement to the locals themselves, he said. "

Good luck, because they don't even understand it themselves. Nothing Pheu Thai says and does is in sync with each other. On the one hand, they say they'll study Abhisit's proposal, and on the other hand they already dismiss it as unconstitutional. It's not unconstitutional. Everything in the Abhisit w00t.gif is constitutional because the mechanism that Abhisit is referring to regarding the removal of a prime minister is found already in the constitution - for these very specific set of circumstances - i.e. the lack of a parliamentary quorum. Through the constitution there is a pathway - if there is a quorum-less parliament - of nominating a prime minister through the Senate. Abhisit is absolutely right, because it's already in the constitution ! Pheu Thai are now arguing against the very document they feign to understand. What they ought to have dismissed out of hand was not Abhisit's proposal - which remains the singular best means to avoid a crisis - and to instead to dismiss out of hand the proposal Prompong officially accepted for Pheu Thai's consideration today by a faction of the UDD - that not only called upon the Yingluck administration to reject the Constitutional Court ruling, but to remove all nine judges of the Constitutional Court, and replace them with new judges. That is the proposal that Prompong and Pheu Thai think is worthy of consideration and study. And that most definitely is the path to chaos.

The question is why can't a Prime minister resign , the PTP are a load of self serving bigots that do not want reforms. Abhisit has good people around him ,they all know the constitution.

Abhisit should have done his reforms when he was PM, but he did nothing than chasing Taksin.

Second, who are the good people around him ? You might mean the army who stated the coup so they could later put Abhisit on the Pm chair.... I hope they put this bloke (Abhisit) in jail for the killings in 2010 as he was an not-elected (by the people) PM who , together with that good people around him , killed innocent people just because they where against him.

Ikke...... go back to sleep please or say something usefull... did you check your IQ lately.. and Abhisit was elected by MPs who were elected by the people to speak for them... Don't believe your Issan wife for Gods sake.. what is it when you stick a needle in you finger...Ehhh,,, now I remember that word.. w00t.gif

  6. Quite Simply, the easiest border run in Thailand is to Ban Phu Nam Ron which is around 65Ks passed Kanchanaburi. Take a bus to Kanchanaburi and then a van to the border crossing. Once there you will stamp out of Thailand , and then at a small table, you will fill out a new arrival/departure slip and hand over your passport which they will photocopy. Also you will pay a fee of 900bahts which covers your visa stamp in Myanmar (500baht) and the mini-bus to take you to Myanmar and back.(400baht). There is no other way to travel between border crossings as it is illegal to take a Thai vehicle into Myanmar and visa-versa.. You would not want to walk. Also the entry and exit stamps are small and take up little space in your passport... All in all,a well organised border crossing with no problems,no touts, takes about 30mins from leaving Thailand.

There is a good coffee shop there and a small clean Thai restaurant . Very polite immigration peoples...

I believe there are many private buses do the run from as far as Hua Hin and Bangkok... check your local free press...

  7. Suthep is a seditionist. The Thai press should not aggrandize him as some sort of freedom fighter such as an Ernesto Guevara or Mohandas Ghandi . He is a disruptive seditionist who fights for a "privately appointed" set of leaders to further advance the cause of the elite establishment.

Whoever he is .. he WILL go down in Thai history as a hero... and Seditionist he certainly is not... and with your pen-name I take it you are a lesbien, surely that is more of a seditionist than Suthep.. giggle.gif

  8. some of you arm chair critics should learn how to read before posting your nonsense, and also if you don't like what Abhisit saying then why don't you offer your own solution to the current impass (and it is not an election) this country is slowly going down the shitter at the hands of PTP with their corruption - lies - theft - blatant stupidity - and incompetency that has no rival in the world today.

This proposal by Abhisit is actually quite reasonable and probably the best solution yet to the current political impass which whether you like it or not does exist and no amount of elections will solve it - it is similar to what the president of the BOT said during a recent interview

An election right now without changes is not the answer - why is PTP not taking the initiative on this they may actually gain some credit if they did - oh yeh I forgot - they are too busy extorting billions of baht from the good people of Thailand to care

To be fair amongst all the fan fair prior to the proposal being put out there surely even you were expecting something a little more detailed and believable? Anyone of us if asked to jot down a funny proposal could have come up with that in 5 mins on the back of a fag pack!

I do not have answers to the problems, but as the proposal suggests for the PM to step down, and then the PDRC to oversee reforms, are quite clearly an unconstitutional and not serious proposal. They know full well this would be roundly laughed at. (well at least i hope they did- they cannot be that far out of touch from reality)

I would like to think that the way out would be for the army to read them the ultimate riot act. ie.Sought the shit out within 6 months or we will remove all of them for good. Obviously more detailed than that, but you can see the picture.

I am not against reform, and not really against reform before an election, but it is just impossible to see how it can be done, who can do it etc, and no one has even put up a realistic non partisan idea.

Smutcakes.... invite Mango Bob.... I'm sure the 2 of you guys will have fun with the pack of fags...blink.png

  9. Leader of the headmen from Chiang Mai, Mr Kamoldit Rotananipat, alias Kamnan Daeng, president of Kamnan and Phuyaibaan Association of Chiang Mai, said 11,000 kamnan and village headmen from Chiang Mai would join the rally with headmen from across the country to rally at the Interior Ministry.

He said about 80,000 headmen would travel to Bangkok to demand protesters return the ministry back to officials to work.

They set off their travel in 26 buses Saturday with first stop over in Lamphun province to join village headmen there to head for Bangkok.

I hope their bus fares will be reimbursed and they will be compensated for the time they wasted.

And did they have 3 fishes and 5 loaves and a guy called John the Baptist to feed them all..... 80,000 on 26 buses, haha, thats about 3000 on each and every bus.... more crap from the redshirt propaganda machine.... giggle.gif Don't ya just love it..!

  10. Why am I not surprised ... I actually know of someone who gets his extension based on retirement (money in the bank) extended each year for about 20,000Baht ... he doesn't have the 800,000 Baht ... says it cheaper than a flight back to the UK! I don't think that I will see much change in this area in the not-too immediate future!!!!!!!!!!

20, 000 baht! It's 12 grand round our way ... Someone is being well ripped off.

only 5000 here tip of the iceberg,

Got a phone number for me..? wai2.gif

  11. Haven't we been treated to the final day prediction by the Nation since the first day Suterp started his personal crusade. This opinion piece should be in the writer personal blog not on national newspaper as it scaring the people and businesses. Unelected PM is constitutionally illegal unless Suterp is bold enough to tear up the constitution and snatch power. Then he will face the wrath of the people power. Army step in and Suterp will be arrested and trial for treason.

Eric.... come down from planet Zug-Zug and back to the real world.. If this was the UK ,Suthep would be knighted..He will go down in history as a Great Thai Leader and a Hero.. unlike you who will just go down... pathetic... w00t.gif

  12. JC really is an idiot. He sees nothing harmful in what he does and believes he alone has the right to lecture the world on what is right and wrong. Let's face it, it's the foundation on which he has built his whole journalistic and TV career.

Can't learn, won't learn. So arrogant he thinks he can do no wrong.

So, both of you guys have a Lot in common... Snigger .. Snigger ...giggle.gif

  13. Actually they need to learn from the past Eg that coups and judicial coups accomplish nothing in the end except creating more of a mess.

What Are you talking about eggs for ? Seems you are the only one with egg on his face... ! And can I ask a question that most TV posters would like to know, Did you ever attend school..? If you did , it was a waste of time..! Suicide is painless....
