for first three months of living in my condo in Bangkok I used Aircon all night long but now I'm slowly acclimatising so fan is good enough for me. well until it gets a bit too uncomfortable then I blast the AC at 26° or 27° for ten minutes or so. main motivation for avoiding AC is the environmental aspect not the cost. would ditch it altogether but that's not practical in my condo because the silly bar stewards didn't put fly screens on the windows and even on the 14th floor I still get those pesky skeeters ????

@ubonjoeI'm sure the OP will want to know this as well ... do we need to print out a physical copy of the online TM47 receipt and keep it in our passports? if we don't will it cause a problem if requesting say a residency certificate from CW or wherever one does it in Bangers?

I've found masks to be somewhat useful when bar-hopping on the Suk; they greatly reduce the smell of those dirty diesel buses. dunno if the mask is actually filtering any PM2.5 particles like the packet says but they sure make the walk a little bit less unpleasant.
