  1. "Nothing good happens after midnight" Just getting that out of the way before the curtain twitchers show up.
  2. That's bad, right?
  3. Works on Android 13 phone, Brave browser, NordVPN NY server. Pre-VPN I got the "error" page, post-VPN I just refreshed the page and it loaded correctly without needing to clear cookies. EDIT: I tried again with a server in KC instead of NY and now the error came back. Tried clearing cookies then connecting to an "obfuscated" server in NY but still no dice. They're taking this geo-blocking thing just a wee bit too seriously.
  4. *Beerlao
  5. It's Beerlao dude, not Beer Louse ????
  6. It's not that good!
  7. This is what worked for me on a Sammy S22+ running Android 13: - In the YouTube app settings and go to 'Set as default'. - Turn off 'Open supported links' - Press the 'Clear defaults' button if applicable. - Go back to 'App info' menu then hit 'Disable' Then be Brave and watch YT ad-free. YMMV of course.
  8. I don't think you understand what carpet bombing, actually is. For best results you need a squadron of BUFFs and a <deleted>-ton of ordnance, mostly dumb bombs to keep the cost down. Then you drop them all over a fairly large area instead of trying to hit one specific target. AFAIK Israel doesn't have any bombers, let alone a squadron of Stratofortresses. That, and I doubt they'd have any allies left if they did that in Gaza.
  9. Those horrid thing are bindii mate, not bindi. We used to call them "bindy-eyes" when we were growing up (SW Sydney). I've no idea what the correct pronunciation is, being ten pound Poms we just copied the local kids when it came to matters Australian.
  10. Cheaper to get the beers in from the Seven and watch highlights of Ralph Wiggum on YouTube. Same result, less expenditure.
  11. That describes the OP to a T.
  12. Get a better paying job. Then you can get a seaview room at Jomtien, not a random hotel in the middle of nowhere.
  13. It's not sales tax, it's VAT. Not same same.
  14. There's a setting somewhere in the Agoda ecosystem that lets you toggle between pre-tax and post-tax. I think the default is pre-tax etc.
  15. 750 a day is chump change.
  16. who is Scott?
  17. It isn't a tax, it's a Passenger Service Charge that is collected by the relevant airport corporation, not immigration or the revenue department.
  18. They close the bars at midday in Udon? Goodness me, what a hellhole. I'll stay in Bankkok thank you very much.
  19. Yeah it's great isn't it? That's why I moved here, not for the temples or the "better than haute cuisine" Street food.
  20. No, it would not, tax residency is based on total time spent in the Kingdom in a fiscal year. Also it is "180 days or more", not "in excess of 180 days".
  21. A million TINs for all the tax dodgers.
  22. Why you not top up via the True iService app? It accepts foreign cards so no issue for tourists like yourself.
  23. OP lives in Patts so I'll hazard a guess and say he's taking about the disheveled foreigners - mostly Western European, Brit and Aussie farang - who infest the place. I saw one such example in Building A at Jomtien Immi a month ago when doing my TM47. Toenails like the claws of some hellspawn, cheap cargo shorts and singlet, and reeking of B.O. You have to dig really deep into your jai yen yen bag not to get completely disgusted by such sights.
  24. An American buddy of mine wears that type of clothing all the time regardless of where he goes, be it Pattaya or elsewhere. Nothing stopping you doing the same except your own mind.
  25. This works on an Android phone? ????
