  1. not just farang, other non-Thais are subject to tiered pricing at certain hospitals.
  2. Thanks for the clarification. And yes i do put "4/212" on anything official, more by luck than design; I just copied what the condo office put on the TM30 and it works! ????
  3. The Aussie guy's name is Josef Slezak mate. He's one of those New Australians with funny names, like my Dad ????
  4. Maybe the Pom was jealous because old mate grew up in God's Own ????
  5. No, I'm being accurate. Also I put the "winky" emoji to indicate that my comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek. But up to you if you want to get all sad and confused about it, mai bpen rai.
  6. Ah that explains it! I'm renting a room in a condo and it has two numbers and for the life of me I could not understand why. The first number is 212 which I guess is the house number as the condo has 278 rooms (it says 4/1-278 on the front wall). The 2nd number is a combo of the floor number and the location on the floor, which make it easy for the security to slip notes under my door and for True to install lovely high-speed fibre-optic ????
  7. The only restriction is space in your passport; re-entry permits take up approx. half a page ????
  8. one does not staple anything to one's passport, only rogue Thai immigration does something as silly as that.
  9. K. Bernard also didn't have a chip on his shoulder, unlike the OP ????
  10. Thai Immigration ???? https://extranet.immigration.go.th/voaonline/voaonline/VoaonlineAction.do
  11. Visa on Arrival only gives you 15 days and cannot be extended ????
  12. My experience says you put the house number first, so 298/706.
  13. Not Soi Diamond, a little further down Walking Street in the direction of Bali Hai pier. It was in a small laneway called Soi Lucky Star. http://www.pattayaphotos.pattayanewbie.com/Soi-Lucky-Star-to-Soi-Diamond.html
  14. could a hi-so get by on only 126k per month? that's only 4,200 baht per day, that's not going to get you a ritzy hotel suite and VIP transfers.
  15. OP's a bloke mate, not a sheila ????
  16. Not in the old Blues Factory it didn't. Geez I miss that place ????
  17. It'd be great if an insider could explain exactly how the online reporting system works and how it interacts with the TM30 address database. I'm really interested in how it determines that the address your condo office submitted via online TM30 is your "permanent address". Is it defined by property type and null check-out date, or some other protocol?' I've done five online reports in the last year or so and at least two of them were after hotel stays where they confirmed a TM30 was done. All were accepted by CW bar one: I didn't know about the pre-fill option and oniited the "Serviced Residence" part of my condo's name. It was subsequently accepted after I resubmitted with the condo's full name. Also curious as to whether or not the process is semi-automated as some have suggested in other posts, or if it's all done by a human.
  18. Right underneath the "Arrival Thailand Date" field.
