  1. Some rogue Immigration Offices are still persisting with the old rules because...reasons. We even had a recent report that online TM30 was unacceptable and the poster is required to visit the IO after every trip away.
  2. Homie in the photo ain't no white boy. Ain't old either. Just sayin'...
  3. Under the new rules he doesn't have to do another report when the gets back home, unless he's coming back in on a new visa. Bangkok have been complying with the new rules so the OP's case is strange.
  4. I try to speak Thai but nobody understands me so I've mostly given up. I just can't remember the tones.
  5. How so? Since the rule change in June 2020 it is no longer necessary for "long-stayers" to submit a new TM30 when they come back from a trip either domestically or internationally. It's only required if you come back in on a new visa.
  6. Sounds like you've "gone bamboo".
  7. I think the OP wants quality food, not gristle on a stick ????
  8. The version of ChatGPT that is free for public use, v3.5, is a bit of a joke. It was "fed" a very limited amount of information, only 300 billion words or so and that data cuts off sometime in 2021. Also it's not actually an AI, it's just an in-development computer program and it can't distinguish fact from fiction. So, for example, if most of the data it has been fed calls an extension a visa renewal then how will it know any different? I don't understand why people are putting so much store by it. Perhaps they're the ones with "artificial" intelligence.
  9. I'm not sure what you mean by that. Are you saying that the book is a figment of my imagination? I found it quite interesting. The writer's premise was that the displacement of the Palestinians was simply a population exchange. So all the Jewish people could come home and have a safe place to live and the existing populace could be absorbed by their "brothers" in the surrounding countries. A premise that I tend to agree with, despite your protestations to the contrary.
  10. Funny but I got that idea from a Jewish writer. Can't remember the name of the book but it was a lengthy tome about the creation of the State of Israel.
  11. Yes, because I wanted to point out to the OP that they weren't giving us the whole story. Do those other 100,000 victims not matter? Are they less worthy of being mentioned because they were "only" c. 9% of the qouted death toll?
  12. it's not stupid at all. if the West had said yeah, send as many as you can and we'll find a home for them then the death toll would have been a lot smaller.
  13. I read a few paragraphs of that propaganda. it only mentions Jews and none of the other persecuted groups.
  14. No, "adds" means adds. "Ads" means advertising. This kind of stuff is why I left Australia. At least the Thais have an excuse for getting it wrong ????
  15. @admin please change the title to append the name of the particular immigration office that is being discussed here.
  16. You said you don't get any "adds" on YouTube. I assume that means nobody has added you as a friend or subscribed to your channel whatever "add" means viz a viz YouTube (I don't use it that much).
  17. Nobody added you as a friend? How sad ????
  18. Whilst we're naming and shaming, why not mention the Western countries who refused to give asylum to the Jews who wanted to flee Nazi Germany? They're just as much responsible for the Holocaust as the Nazis.
  19. I looked this up a few years ago but everything I found was too complicated for my puny brain so I just use VLC now and open the subtitle file manually. The K.I.S.S. approach ????
  20. Indeed it is. The OP is encouraging corruption by giving the extra 100 baht. <deleted>
  21. Why you don't just use TM30 online when you come back home from a trip and stop worrying. Or do you live in a province that won't accept online submissions like another fella mentioned last week?
  22. AN have some sort of syndication agreement with TT that allows them to post links to selected articles. I suspect that that agreement stipulates that the articles are shown "as is". If you click on enough links in a "visa" related article on TT, you'll eventually get to a part there they offer to take care of all your needs. For a fee of course. The last such link I clicked on they wanted ฿20k to assist with a retirement extension. Hand-holding only, you still need money in the bank LOL.
  23. Thailand is not Singapore lah!
