  1. Finally, thats a very good idea, specially for the german and frensh community, they can now sit all day and drink FREE :annoyed:

High production costs? Has it occured to anybody that these RESTAURANTS have to pay for Staff, Energy, Refridgerators and RENT? its rediculous how some farangs behave here. I never had a Thai guest in our restaurant complaining about 10 Baht for a cool water....ONLY Farang do, specially Switzerland, Germans and Frensh :jap:

Your post shows your non existing intelligence.

I guess you just hate people coming from these countries, not more. I've never seen that guys from these country act like cheap Charlies, I hate people like you, who don't even know what they're writing.

Could you please tell us the name of 'your' restaurant??

  2. Factors examined in the analysis range from education, health care, quality of life, economic dynamism, and political environment.

Obviously the rankings didn't include climate since Finland, Sweden and to a lesser extent Switzerland are dark and miserably cold most of the year. Just what exactly is included in the "quality of life" category anyway?

    Arrai na? :ermm:

That's why so many Swedes are living in LOS? Switzerland is such a tiny little country, only rich because of their Banking system.

Again: What does the quality of life include????

  3. Maybe he should have left his ATM card back at home with his brain.

Mr Kjell told police the man, wearing sunglasses and a black cap, offered to help him conduct the transaction when he was having problems with the machine on the morning of August 9.

What the hel_l's wrong with some farlangs? Would he have done this in Europe? I guess not. The story smells like old fermented fish...........

  4. It was most likely caused by inadequate design of the temporary staging and/or the workers not following the instructions correctly! Or perhaps even failure to give them essential instructions?

Nothing to do with brown envelopes.

From my experience,Thai Structural Engineers are inclined to over design the permanent structure so it's unlikely to be the reason for the collapse.

Perhaps they were using white envelopes?

  5. so "has threatened to kill in the past" and nothing was done to imprison/hospitalise this man?

He came here with an English girl in 2006. He was massive; he was obviously a steroid junky and said he had been working as a bouncer in Spain. In his first fight for Rawai Muay Thai, he knocked the guy down and then dived on him and tried to bite his ear off. You can see it on you tube.....

Too many English bouncers in Thailand make them look like people second hand.

  6. The Army is a "Third Hand" (i.e., behind the scenes) political power broker in Thailand--the most powerful broker.....and periodically becomes a very visible and loud pounding hard ruler (i.e., military coup) who then slowly fades to behind the scenes operations/power brokering again. TIT

Prayuth has already said that he wishes to keep the Army out of politics but realises that such a task may be difficult given the current political and security environment. He said troops have returned to their barracks for now but may still be needed to keep peace and order as the political battle simmers on.

    They have teurned but........................................????????????????????????????/

  7. I've never met a swede or a scand that hasn't spoken great english ...

Scandinavians speaks better English than "native" speakers.

30% of the English language was introduced by the Vikings.

Guess Scandinavians speak better Scandinavian than East German wall jumpers do.

You shouldn't underestimate yellow snow in Alaska. Cheers.

  8. his boxing will be an asset in jail. He'll meet lots of well-seasoned sparring partners there.

Police said a couple of hours earlier this morning, Mr Longfellow was involved in an altercation with Mr Lee, who had been studying Muay Thai at a different training camp.

According to police, Mr Longfellow had driven his motorbike to the Freedom Bar in Rawai to pick up his girlfriend.

At a different training camp trained? Knives and boxing sounds really weird to me.

Rest in peace young man, who. had no chance.

My condolences to those who lost him. Sorry to hear that.

  9. This had to happen. It probably a good thing. You'll "hopefully" see performance of voip, web mail, etc.. improve. Torrents are drain especially since most peers exists outside of TOT, if you look at an average torrent drainer using a steady 1mbit the economics just dont make sense. I cant even buy full transit routes on 1000mbit commits for < 550baht/mbit (or anywhere near that). So hopefully TOT stop, separate, or traffic shape them.

Ideally I'd like to see torrent drainer pay a massive premium. Part ignorance for most windoze users as the systray hides the little U, but wow imagine how fast the internet would be in Thailand without torrent drainers.

    Ends rant.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think you are very much in the minority

You'd like to see that torrent drainer pay much more? What's wrong with you??
