I got a ME non-O eVisa because I have to make a trip to Malaysia and I thought it was 90 days total. Never crossed my mind it was something else.

I think its a good thing, I don't need it personally but was chatting to someone yesterday who said it was easy to do. I don't have the 40k of income nor a wish to stay in Thailand in the longer term but if I did I would def use this visa.

No idea, I have no medical background, but the comparative efficiency of mine changed over the testing period. I had the diagnosis and testing done in London.

Efficiency of both ventricles can be measured, you need to spend a night in the hospital for them to do it properly though. I had it done 7 years ago. One side of my heart works at a reduced efficiency to the other at times. Cuases me to have dizzy spells.

I think its more a UK term (being rhyming slang). I have heard most Aussies replace it with "seppo".

Being cockney rhyming slang, its not derogatory per se, just a side of dark British humour.

The association of shouting, yelling and yawping to let everyone else know what a good time you claim to be having. Admittedly, this only seems to be those less than 40 years old. 

If Phua Thai push for one of the Shins or close family then its going to alienate all those voters who are anti-thaksin. Better to choose a more acceptable candidate to the whole populous for PM. Then the deals can be done to make the country stable for next 5 or so years. 

Its just common sense, but then again I am not Thai so not sure what goes off in their heads.

It makes you wonder WHY should a 18/19 year old not be allowed to buy a lottery ticket? They can vote at 18 but not buy a lottery ticket?

Ouch, so you pay for the property and put it in his name (i.e he is the legal buyer)?!$!?

Hopefully you will get some 1st hand recommendations, but be wary as Thailand is full of scammers both Thai and expat. 

What immediately came to my mind was typical elite defence mode: sue them as you have more money than them and can weather it, call in favours with plod as you are an elite.
