Here’s a claim that he boasted of killing 25 Afghans followed by Harry’s response and the full context of the quotation to put it back in context :
The Sun:
“Harry, 38, writes in his book Spare that killing 25 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan was like “chess pieces taken off the board”.
Wheres the "boast"? When I read the sun excerpt i don't get the impression he is boasting.

There should be a poll with this thread. Something like this ........
Is Harry a Pillock yes/no

I realize everyone's different and handle situations differently, but beware of angry Thai males, most have short fuses, and they don't forget either I learned.
Not just the men. One thing I learnt earlier in my working career here, Thais NEVER forget or forgive, once an enemy you are an enemy for life. I never did understand how this came about, must be handed down (nuture by example).

Stories like this, which we know are NOT statistical outliers, are what make me willing to walk away from it all.

Well I might not trust the UK press too much not to embellish a story.
Agreed :+)

It surprises me there is more in the Uk nationals and local press about what actually happened on the road and their coming together than in the Thai national press.
To cut a long story short .... another Thai male psychopath who now thinks "apologizing" to the dead man's family is enough.
Be careful out there guys.

This is an example of one of the reasons I chose not to continue to live in Thailand. The government (the cretins in the he gov) can just change its mind willynilly at anytime on anything and come up with something that it may or may not change at anytime without notice.

Paraphrase - Man comes to Thailand, makes lots of money (so he says but hey this is ultimate Thai reinvention lie), get married, has a family, kids get to education age and he wants them UK educated, he gets bored, goes back to UK (but hints he may return to Thailand as his wife misses it).
The video of Dan's chat to camera is much more interesting and thought provoking.

Some things are expensive here I agree, but IMHO hotels are not one of them, in my own experience Thailand hotels' quality/price is very good comparatively.

It would be ironic if after all of Thailand's effective (luck?) of keeping covid numbers down that it became a hub for some new variant spreading or developing. Economy would be seriously fffffffed then.
But my crystal ball and the silver coins hanging off my head-dress says all will be fine.

At mine if they do not meet the quorum requirements they then ask the shareholders to give a proxy vote permission. I have always refused but sometimes wonder as the building is slowly falling apart.
-
Why do they need a panel, surely it should involve the NACC doing a criminal investigation.
This will be swept under the carpet, too many other dominoes could fall. -

houses similar to ours and with a good location have risen in price
Main market for houses and large condos is Thai. Chinese prefer small city units and will buy without seeing as so cheap to them. My realtor told me this.

Option - Change to a relative's address
Option - Open an "offshore account" with your bank or another (i.e. Jersey, IOM, etc)
