Apart from anything else, this puts a big dent into Thailand's reputation for being able to make money from foreigners at every opportunity.

"New application" and "check status" I just checked mine.....still pending and my due date is in couple of days. Been pending 7 working days already (CW) Im resigned to fact of having to go to CW doing in person report. Same thing happened last report. I'm losing faith in the damn thing. This has happened to me on the last 2 occasions. Ended up having to go in person on final day.

That's nonsense. There has been a mass of people posting on having their accounts closed and last month my bank informed me that mine will be closed this month.

I understand that but now that can be done online not that much of an issue for most. Many people have been complaining about failures in the system. For my last 2 reports it failed to generate reminders and, although I lodged reports within the necessary time limits, on neither occasion did it show a result - other than pending - before the expiry of the 7 days. Both times I had to go to CW in person on the final day.

Just an update. I went to CW today. They wanted to see my bank passbook but it was not necessary to have it updated. In and out in 30 minutes.
