  1. Dont agree with the poster. There are exceptions but I think generally Thai women who have been in touch with the glitz and worked in it make very poor mothers of the kids they already have from thai guys and mae make poor partners. I have 2 very good examples to support my claim but not reveal the details on this forum. Just saying
  2. wwwest5829 proving the 65,000 coming from abroad each month, what method do you use to send it from your country? If it is WISE (formerly Transferwise) are their records acceptable to the IMO? I am thinking of switching from the 800,000 in the Fixed Interest Account method but it is presumably tricky to do it mid annual extension when you have to leave it be for 3 months after the last extension?
  3. Jurg. Could you mail me the agency which you used to obtain the cost effective but adequate insurance please ? Thank you in advance.
  4. Have I got this right. Test and Go still an option until the 10th January with everything in place but from the 11th its either 7 days quarantine or Sandbox entry?
  5. Triumph Tiger Cub Mortorcycle. An item I always yearned for as a 17 year old but beyond my financial reach then.
  6. Ubonjoe thank you. I am Non O Extension so I will do for the whole year again. I just do not understand why the Non O and Non OA are treated differently by IMM in regard to Health Insurance.
  7. Ubonjoe. I am also doing my retirement extension in January 31st and have had 800,000 in the Bangkok Bank throughtout the whole year but I am having trouble at 76 years getting Health Insurance due to a couple of underlying conditions. I could probably get 1 or 2 months insurance in England when I return to there in May 2022 so I am wondering whether I should forsake the Annual Extension which would require me to re-enter Thailand with Health Insurance for the entire duration of my extension. Excuse me if I have raised this in the wrong forum. Thanks. I would appreciate advice.
  8. Poor young lady. What a tragic Christmas for her loved ones. Feel sad for them.
  9. Gsxrnz has it spot on. Also the Education or Health Department should ban unsavoury food carts from sitting outside school gates with heavy fines. Many of the girls of that age group are huge and seem happy to be called Pumpui as if its complimentary term. As one commentator has suggested it will eventually become an unfavourable label.
  10. As for Malaysia who would want to be called for for prayer at 5-30 am with all those loud hailers not to mention all the fully covered Muslim women and probably frowned upon if you like a beer just sayng.
  11. Bruno 123 has it wrong. Time is well overdue to call time on Soi Dogs. The marauding packs around the Temple area on Jomtien Beach Road chasing domesticated animals accompanying their owners is a menacing sight. Some of these have neck collars too so must be owned but are free to roam at will. There are many others just sleeping on footways and have to be bypassed. Some terrorise cyclists and running children. Ask at any A&E department what they think of soi dogs and dog bites !
  12. the 100 bahtish ones are the Rapid Positive Antigen Test Kits not the PCR Tests.
  13. I have a PWC Seadoo 130 GTi. You have already mentioned the important things viz: Registration and Captain's Licence. The latter is optional I understand. As far as I know it is the Craft which is registered. The inspectors did not examine the trailer. As has already been commented there are many dangers with operating the craft near beaches eg swimmers and collisions with other craft. Enjoy every moment. I am interested to know where are 'the larger bodies of water outside Kanchanaburi'. There is, of course, the Kwai river itself, but I suspect the debris in that would soon clog up your intake manifold.
  14. Mekongsailor. You are wrong Sir.
  15. Call time on all fighting bred dogs and soi dogs now! Thailand is years behind other countries on this. I felt sad at the demise of King Rama lX who was a keen dog lover but I thought this problem would have been addressed now that he has sadly departed this life. Children at play are savaged daily by soi dogs all over Thailand and only a few incidents make the news. Time to stop this now.
  16. The shotgun is more likely to be seized by the perp and used on THEM.
  17. Those selections really interesting. Breaking Bad I thought I'd watched until the end but after the DEA guy got shot and the families feuded it seemed to end weird. Did I miss some episodes?
  18. richard_smith23 Could I also have a copy of that step by step guide you referred to please Richard. Thanks
  19. I had my first dose of AZ at Bang Sue Station in July with a return date of 7th October. However on the 6th October I visited the Indoor National Indoor Stadium at Jomtien and they gave me a 2nd dose of AZ to avoid another journey to Bang Sue the next day. Neither the confirmation sheet from Bang Sue that the first dose had been administered or the the small blue paper from the Stadium in Jomtien confirming my second dose carry the 13 digit numbers. Now I have my appointment for the yellow inoculation passport at Naklua and I am concerned I do not have the correct references to get it. Anyone thanks.
  20. Why did he head for the red light area of Soi 4 Nana BKK and how did they locate him ? Well done the BIB.
  21. Lucky for him he wasn't in Nakhon Sawan and Joe Ferrari was still in charge.
