  1. There are 100 forums here, and you choose to focus on 2 or 3 specific forums that are open where people can discuss politics !(soapbox) and what they choose. There is a Thailand News section where around 60 articles A DAY are posted every day. Hope the rant made you feel better 😀
  2. Well, after reading through this, perhaps we'll just turn the "ignore" facility OFF. 😀 it undermines the principles of open dialogue and community engagement Forums are designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, encourage discussions, and promote understanding among members with diverse perspectives. An "ignore" function enables users to create echo chambers, avoiding differing opinions and stifling constructive debate IMHO
  3. It isn't "Lazada" that gets out of stock of anything; they are just the middleman and delivery coordinators. The merchants using the platform are the ones going "out of stock." I actually find it refreshing that some are telling it like it is and not selling from stock they actually haven't even bought yet! Of course, it is also an automated stock control for the sellers, depending on if they enter how many they actually have when they listed it.

  6. What’s the best drink you’ve ever had? Think about it for a second. Now, imagine something better. That’s what RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE is all about. It’s a rum so smooth and packed with flavour it’s like sipping on a little piece of history. And it’s winning hearts around the world. Let’s explore what makes RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE so special. A Thai aged rum with a long history There’s one treasure Thailand has that’s often overlooked outside its borders: its spirits. While the country is famous for its stunning beaches, vibrant street markets, and world-class cuisine, it also boasts an incredible tradition of spirit-making. RUANG KHAO was established in 1786, blending the art of distillation with expertise from both Eastern and Western traditions. Drawing on Thailand’s legendary spirit-making heritage, RUANG KHAO became the country’s original and bestselling spirit. Fast forward more than two centuries and this legacy lives on in every drop of SIAM SAPPHIRE, a rum that embodies cultural authenticity and serves as a lasting treasure. Each sip offers a rich experience and brings the essence of Thai tradition to life while seamlessly fusing time-honoured craftsmanship with creative innovation to create an unmatched taste and story. How it’s made The secret to SIAM SAPPHIRE starts in Thailand’s lush sugar cane fields. The tropical climate is ideal for growing high-quality sugar cane, and each stalk is handpicked by local farmers. Once harvested, the sugar cane is pressed fresh to capture its natural richness. The juice is then distilled in copper pot stills, which are also used in Cognac production. After distillation, the rum is aged in oak barrels that once held whisky. Then, the rum is aged in ex-whisky oak barrels. This aging process imparts subtle yet complex flavour while giving the rum its deep copper hue. RUANG KHAO does every process in small batches to ensure quality and attention to detail. What does RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE taste like? On the nose, you’re greeted with notes of honey, caramel, and vanilla, accented by gentle spices. The palate delivers a delightful balance of youthful vibrancy, sweet caramel, and a whisper of fruitiness, with a short spicy finish that leaves you longing for another sip. This balance of flavours is why RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE has won big awards. In 2024, it took home two gold medals at the SIP Awards, one for its flavour and another for its sleek design. The rum also earned a Gold for Design and a Silver for its taste at the World Rum Awards. Moreover, it continued its winning streak with a Silver Medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), an IWSC Silver Award from the International Wine and Spirit Competition, a Silver Medal at the London Spirits Competition (LSC), and recognition at the Bartender Spirits Awards. Not to mention the International Taste Institute also awarded it a Silver Medal. How to enjoy RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE RUANG KHAO SIAM SAPPHIRE is smooth, versatile, and full of history. You can enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or as part of a fancy cocktail. It’s also a great choice if you want to impress your friends with something unique and delicious. If you’re feeling creative, you can even try making your own cocktails with it. The rum’s balanced flavour makes it the perfect base for experimenting with cocktail recipes, so let your imagination run wild. Need some inspiration? 7. My experience of cheap tablets. I bought 2 for the grand children. They worked just fine for 4 months, Then the trouble started, but the main issue was the battery would no longer hold charge, and there was nowhere to get a replacement. This happened to both within a week of each other. Result: binned ! Stay with mainstream items that can be worked on and parts easily and readily available. As my Old man used to say "buy cheap buy twice"
  8. Bought one rtecently off Lazada- its unbelievable!! very impressed especially for the low cost too!!
  9. Suggestion as someone who built a 2m wall around the property, DONT! nake it a full height block/render. There are now better options. Two suggestions, 1. only do the wall 4 ft. then have some kind of panel on top of the wall between the posts, this will stop it "leaning" or potentially falling over (in years to come), as is so common here. 2 There is a reletively new system that has post and slide in concrete panels. faster and way cheaper. Obviously, like all building work it depends on your location. groundwork and WHO you get to do it.
