  1. That's not correct, as I got my Thailand Pass, and I haven't checked the status. I did receive the spam email, but it went into my junk folder.
  2. I did mine on Tuesday at 4.30pm and I got approval at 10.30pm the same day, so only 6 hours.
  3. I did mine about 1 year ago in Klong Toei, it was on Soi Thong lo just before the canal, all I had to show was my passport and Yellow Book and they did ask me for my fathers name and they will take the picture and takes about 15 minutes. I do believe you need a witness with you. It's best if you take someone that can speak Thai
  4. Yes you are correct in that. My wife legally changed her first name at the Amphur, the one on Soi Thong Lo, and they did offer translation service, but she had to pay for the translation and to legalize, as if she went to a translation place. The Amphur used Saladeang Translation Office.
  5. Unless there's another way to turn off "follow this topic" that I don't know of.
  6. I think what they are trying to say is that you can apply on March 1st, but book any flights until the 7th so that they have time to approve your Thai Pass.
  7. For the antigen test, does it have to be done by swab or can you use the saliva (spit) test. My daughter has to take 2 spit test a week for her school, so I have lots of those tests.
  8. I just check out of curiosity and they have a slot for Feb 23 at 2pm. this is extension for Thai wife/retirement
  9. I know I don't have to as my next 90 day report is March 20th, and I am leaving Thailand that day anyways, I am going to try to do it online and see if you works,
  10. What about filling the one Health Pass does that still need to be done?. Also you might still have to fill out the S-paSS if you are traveling to or through a restricted area. As I am going from Makati to Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, and some sites says that I need it.
  11. I was able to do my 90 day report online with the old site, but I can't do it on the new site. I am reverse of everybody else.
  12. Moonshine is still around, they have moved to Soi 7, and they still have their annual Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Also several other bars have moved to Soi 7 from Queens Park.
  13. This is a bit off topic, but I was filling out the Thailand pass and it asks you for your permanent address outside of Thailand. What do you put if you don't have any address outside of Thailand, and you can't leave it blank.
  14. Also don't forget that with an retirement visa you need to keep a minimal balance of $400,000 Baht all the time and another 400,000 Baht for 2 months before and 3 months after, so you would have 800,000 Baht tied up for 8 months. An extension base on marriage, you only need to show 400,000 Baht, and only keep only keep it in your bank 2 months before renewal and 1 month after for under consideration. Then there's always the income method.
  15. This looks like a good website. https://asq.in.th/
  16. G Hotel in Hua Hin is not a bad hotel, it's close to Market Village and Blu Port. The only thing that prevents me staying there again is that the mattresses are then concrete, but this was a very long ago.
  17. I just hope it works for me in March, I tried it before but it got rejected, even though I was successful the old online 90 day reporting aand some people were unsuccessful on the old but successful on the new. Oh Well I will see in a month. TIT
  18. Starting Feb 10, the Philippines have dropped the arrival PCR and hotel quarantine, you just need a negative test upto 48 hours of departure, you just have to self monitor for 7 days, I would imagine more people will go there, and I think the Cambodia, Vietnam will probably follow suit.
  19. You could always try to do you 90 day report online. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/
  20. It was announced on cnnphilippines. One link is from Facebook and the other is from CNNPhilippines website. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcnnphilippines.com%2Fnews%2F2022%2F1%2F28%2FPH-entry-fully-vaxxed-passengers-non-visa-required-countries-tourism-business.html%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0scufDQI0oeQiFOuSlBPHc_1W3dY6qe9SMqN3dvhPTg1MPDMtZ9AGNKFo&h=AT2as6p6DKCRz4ezRqmgZ0Rt0XwNykCvvO0L04uFDtzH8dwOscJPR9w2IaW8vixj3AeRtyBdwB43mdlZvLk4-IfQhVd7s-MrK7gRElmunWHKM_YD4Ip5xltXJAq-ZKnfKis https://cnnphilippines.com/news/2022/1/28/PH-entry-fully-vaxxed-passengers-non-visa-required-countries-tourism-business.html
  21. Probably the reason they want you to sign in blue ink instead of Black is when they make copies they can tell which one is the original. That's what my lawyer told me a long time ago.
  22. I think what they mean is that it will take months to do the repairs to the bridge.
