The guy who died in his arms after being denied water and bullied by the gangs was 41 years old. Here is his obituary. RIP. Obituary of Rickey McDonald He was a guy who was educated and was loved, have some respect.
I read that Obituary page put up by the funeral home & noticed that Issacs had posted asking onthere if Ricky had died in the prison which seems strange seeing as he stated in the Mirror newspaper that Ricky died in his arms.
Also it's said that he spent months in there but then it goes on to say that he spent 5 days in police cells before going to court & then was sentanced to 9 days which make 2 weeks in total.
Am I missing something?
RIP Ricky

A lot of Americans were shocked when they discovered Idris Elba of The Wire had a London accent.
Like Christian Bale, it just means they've done a good job.
Not forgetting Dominic West from that but also a mention for Damian Lewis (Homeland) & the list could go on

Some serious dollars being thrown around here.
Can anyone add some fruition to this news story & does anyone know the route it would take through the city & Sattahip?

Had a friend that thinks he’s a big shot in Pattaya , any new blood that would come to visit he would give them the grand tour of the bars and Gogos he owned . Show the new blood what a big man of the village he was , little did they know he was always priming them to ‘invest’ in his money making enterprises .... little did they know none were making any money and he was living off all the ‘investments’ his friends had made . None made even the smallest of money back and now nearly all of them to a man are back in the uk on the bones of their <deleted> ! While he is still in Pattaya living the dream ????
I've heard of things like that on a few occasions here including the one where up to 20 people have been tricked into buying 10% each of the business.

I haven't ridden bikes much so I would advice on want I should buy.
What type of bike/scooter & how many cc's should I be looking at for a starter bike?
I would like comfort & safety but don't need all mod cons.
Thanks people.

There is an office supply company that should stock it next door to the new Tops supermarket behind the KFC drive-in on the Suk just before you tun left onto Pattaya Tai by Big C.

I would always use one of the big companies Hertz, Avis etc. If you book on line can often get good discounts.
They are all franchises & run by Thais which is beside the point.
I prefer to deal with small well run businesses & that includes where I go to eat & socialise.
I stay away from the big franchises.

I was having an aperitif in LK Metro a few nights ago & it famine or feast down there with some bars full to the rafters & some empty with a few for sale/rent signs up.
As a side note a european looking gent took issue with the door staff at Pulse a go-go throwing barstools around & flexing his pecs.
He had come out of the gogo opposite & the doorman there pulled him away & dragged him back inside.
Very strange carry which seemed even stranger when it was pointed out to me that said gent was one of the partners in the gogo.
Maybe he had been indulging to much in his own stock but in the end there was no harm done.

Shane is the boss of this company in Pratamnak & a pure gent.
His staff are a pleasure to deal with & easy on the eye.
I have used them on a couple of occasions when my own car was on the blink.

Also because beef cattle supposedly do not do well in the hot humid climate. So good beef needs to be imported.
I don't think that they hang the beef here.
The animal is killed, butchered & sent straight to market.
I read on this forum a post from a retired butcher who bought a side of beef fresh in the market, brought it home, butchered it then hung it properly in his fridge claiming that it was great.

Thanks for the reply. I just thought it may be of interest to some but that probably wrong.
I too was never "into" photography but I've concluded it doesn't matter. There's such little interest in sharing photos other than on social media sites.
I'd love a look WC.

Wood fired oven
in Western Food in Thailand
Posted
I have built a wood fired oven in the backyard & was wondering what local wood would be best & where would I source it in the Pattaya/Sattahip areas?
I was warned not to use old rubber trees at any cost.
