True Value have gone & Hafele have expanded into their space.
Good quality stuff but import duties make the stuff expensive.
I bought cheap brass brushes at Thai Wasadu which is further down the Suk on the other side of the road.
If you got to a local steel/iron mongers with pictures of what you want then they will run you up a copy

Hafele store on the Suk opp Tescos carries brushes etc.
There is also a BBQ on the left hand side of Tressepit (sp) Rd about 100 yds before you reach the Jomtien end

I've been having problems with pidgeons & their poo is a real problem.
Where can I buy rubber snakes & lifesize models of birds of prey to put around the place to scare them off?
-
With the amount of chicken being consumed around town then there must be some place that sells decent organic chicken...

Where can I buy fresh organic free range whole chickens around town?
Tesco used to under the Betagro brand but now only sell boned pieces.
I've had no luck at Big C, Foodland, Friendship or indeed the Betagro shop itself.

Cream is the fattiest parts of milk.
It floats to the top when a cow is milked & taken off.
If you churn (mix) it enough it will turn into butter.
BMI is not a hard & fast rule.
Most rugby players or heavy weight boxers would be considered obese & pro cyclist considered anorexic if the BMI scale was to be followed

With the right inducement to the correct city hall officals then a compulsory purchase order could easily be placed on the right parcels of land to turn them into access roads.
There would also be a lot of M&E involved which also needs access.
There are over 20 rai of land down there apparently owned by 2 seperate big Bangkok companies who have sat on them for decades.

Authorities will eventually have to make a decision.
Do they allow it, or enforce it. Allow it, and hotels go broke. Enforce it, and owners go broke, and a big slow down in the construction industry, which means a loss of Thai jobs.
Thailand marketed itself to the Chinese and Indians, and Thailand got the Chinese and Indians. Now, they have to deal with the way this demographic "holiday" abroad.
I don't think many Thais are employed on these big construction sites as for the most part it's Khmer & Burmese staff, they don't have the same workers rights as Thais, are easier to dismiss & cheaper.

I'm not happy with the taste of the water from my local supplier.
Is there a shop in town that sells these water cooler bottles direct?
-
I wouldn't send my dog there after the way my child was manhandled there.

I have noticed groups of chinese in Tescos recently doing food shopping.
There is a terrible shortage of empty hotel rooms & condos so it's great that someone is building more empty hotel rooms & condos.
Don'tcha hate to see folks homeless at Christmas & this can only help to solve that problem locally

I was at Sue's the day the were closing a few years back, I guess somebody bought it and continued? Haven't visited since.
Not sure if my earlier prediction about Le Mar in Jomthien closing has become true. It's been wiped off google maps, last trace I saw was 'Permanently Closed'. Need to verify. No wonder if it is closed, it was a small pocket of west in the New China.
Sue's Place is still under the same ownership but they closed down for refurb much too my dismay.
It was the last of the old school bars with very pictures of marines & old signed dollar bills all over the walls, beauty board on the walls & old fans, it was a time machine.
The place rocked when the Fleet were in town but then the whole town did

Who diagnosed you Willy.
I have no doubt in my mind that I have the same problem & was wondering of I could just buy a CPAP & strap it in on without all the faff of seeing a doc?
Where did you get your one from?
-
Fascino pharmacy on Pattaya Nua will most likely supply it

I'm thinking of getting a Netflix subscription for my new place & want the children to be able to use it.
I have a decent connection & use express vpn so my question is should I buy an overseas ie UK, subscription or is the local one decent enough?
-
I'm after linen & towels now so is there any updated info on hotel suppliers?
-
I use express but can rarely get a good enough connection to watch bbc & often it seems to know that I am on a vpn & won't let me on anyway giving me the massage that I must be in the UK to watch bbc

I was told that a lot of the fires are started by the lorry drivers.
They see fields ready in an area that they are working so set fire to them, once burnt the cane doesn't have long left so needs to be cut which the farmer does.
The lorry drivers are freelancers so only get paid per load so know that the farmer needs them as much as they need the farmer.
Any truth in this?
They have stopped the burning of cane in Brazil by government intervention of pricing between burnt & unburnt (pity they don't do the same with their rain forests)

What do I have to do to fuel interest in this topic?

AIS in the basement of Central will sell you one for a year where you plug it into a power source wherever you are & then connect your devices through it to use the data
You'll need to show your passport though.

These are printed in big batches so this may only be the start of them.
The old King is on that note though so maybe an old batch still about
-
This doesn't seem to be a hot topic so maybe I can stoke it a bit...
Why I can only see great things ahead for Pattaya
