Does anyone know where I can buy a big one locally in 2019?
-
Numchai have a great rep for repairs though
-
I was in Numchai a few days ago on the prowl for a new washing machine.
Staff told me that the Electolux brands that they sell are all Thai made & the others were Chinese imports.
They are offering 10 yr guarantees for the motors & 2 years on the electronics.
Has anyone off here had a issues with their washing machine?

Sugar Shack in Pattayaland is one of the oldest established golfing bars in town.
Also another vote for Colin's Bar on Buakao as he's being running golf trips himself for well over 25 years here
Asia Pattaya hotel at the bottom of soi 4 Pratamnak has a very tidy 9 hole pitch & putt if you just want to rock & play in town

why not buy some minced ozzie beef and mek your own???
cook onions and scoff it !!!
I used to buy cheaper cuts in Friendship & get it minced.
A kilo then make the patties & freeze what I won't cook but last time they refused to mince a kilo saying that I had to buy 5 kilo for them to mince it.
I need to take a run up to do that & I'm going out shortly so will want a nice malbec to go along with my burger

I think the best burgers in Pattaya are at Steak & Co. on Soi Lengkee. Good runners up: Laong's and Arno's.
I had a great breakfast at Laong's so that's on the list but not Steak & Co. (if I can't say something good then best to stay stum)

Try the Aussie burger at Frasers or the Brooklyn Bad Boy Burger at Harlans Comfort.
Harlan has gone on his hols the lazy git ????
I might give Frasers a try.
I tried Hemmingways but it weren't great, Pastrami & Rye has changed ownership.
Patrick's Steak place has a burger on his menu & his steaks are on point so that's an option

Classroom in Pattayaland does a cheap daytime pint & it's nice step-up inside with long tables outside to watch the world go by

Thanks for the response @SidJames
Does anyone happen to know if either visa (UK or Ireland) is easier to get? I've been reading bad things about VFS.
I'm not sure if the Irish visa gives you access to the UK but the UK one does allow access to Eire.
You can always go in the back door via Belfast though as that's considered a domestic flight or get the ferry via scotland

A UK C class tourist visa (basic 6 month tourist visa) will allow her to travel to RoI but she must travel through the UK first & not travel directly into RoI.
All she would need to do was go through immigration in the UK then back through & board a flight to Ireland.

I want them to check my brakes & while I am waiting they must throw in an engine oil massage with a roast beef sandwich for 200 baht all done by brake trained bikini clan ex gogo dancers.
I'm a generous tipper.... could be an extra 10-20 baht in it to the right lady....
-
Can anyone recommend a decent spot to get the brakes checked out on my pick up?
It's a toyota vigo & is about 6 years old

You shouldn't cook with extra virgin olive oil as it splits at high temps so becomes unhealthy plus looses it flavours which was the whole point of using it the first place but great for dressing which I assume you know JJ from the knowledgeable slight of your post.
Ghee has an extremely high smoking point.

If Italian, they should use Olive oil,but without having access to
the kitchens you will have no idea what they use, most Thai places
will use Palm oil,I myself use Rice bran oil, which is supposed to be
good.
regards worgeordie
I also use rice bran oil as it has a very high smoking point

I'm going from Swampy to Nana via the BTS but I have twisted my ankle so walking is painful.
There are 2 ways to go using the train but which one is easiest in my condition?
????

I won't pay either & take my entire family so they loose that income as well.
Is it actually legal in Thailand to charge on how someone looks as it illegal in most countries to judge someone according to their race or sex

Hemmingways in Jomtien.
Specials everyday.
Well trained staff & an English manager

That story was invented by the Catfish Farmers of America and has been comprehensively disproved.
Vietnamese catfish is being used in Europe though where it's dunked in a solution that allows it so soak up & hold water to a certain percentage so increasing it's weight.
It's used in most processed generic white fish dishes.
I wonder if my children will ever eat fresh pollution-free wild fish to any degree.

I used to drink around Pattayaland as you could go on a decent pubcrawl but nearly all the bars have become empty Indian restaurants.
There must be a hell of a lot of dirty washing over there.

Just to reiterate the children are completely bilingual but speak Thai amongst themselves.
They just need help with Thai grammar reading & writing.
Maybe an hour or two at weekends with some homework for them to do midweek.
It's a handy little cash number for the right person.
