Same old heresy that's been around for years. I'll deal with it as and when and IF it happens.

Yep, I tried them for a while as a backup. Good support but I prefer the UI and simplicity of my current iptv service.
-
I am on my second year with them. I don't know why, but if you post a fault, they are quite abrupt to the point of rudeness. When they changed over to the updated app, they were quite blunt, stating " and don't contact us for your log in details, if you have misplaced them". I recently reported a euro match that was on a loop. Now some weeks later, still no response. I contacted Trust pilot to ask them why WizzTv no longer appeared on their site for reviews. They replied that companies who breach their ethical and professional standards are always removed. Fortunately, because of the low subscription cost, I only use them as a backup to my other longstanding IPTV service. But I will not subscribe to WizzTv again.

You don't actually pay income tax on your state pension, if it is below the £12570 personal allowance But if you have another pension,( defined as income by HMRC) you will pay tax on that. Example purely for illustration purposes and simplicity: Person A receives, say £ 11570 uk state pension. And also receives another pension, be it govt or private of say £18000 per annum. The UK state pension of £11570 is deducted from the personal allowance of £12570, leaving therefore £1000 still under the personal allowance. This £ 1000 is then deducted from the other pension of £18000, leaving £17000 taxable income at 20%. So, in effect you don't pay tax on UK state pension per se, using the above illustration.

It's a lightweight open source media player. I would just leave it where it is.

Just a thought are you running version 13.6 10bit uninstaller? That should be able to scan and force delete most things.
-
It may be well be part of the default apps pre loaded that came with your device. Default apps cannot always be deleted, where they are designed to be used by that device. But, like always, you can always sideload or download another player of your choice. My device has built in AM player, plus another media player. They can't be deleted, but because they are lightweight in storage terms, it doesn't bother me.

Wise Transfer change problem
Raindancer replied to FarmerJoe's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Pushing versus pulling? Am I correct in assuming that " "pushing" relates to sending the money to wise, as opposed to " pulling" is where you arrange a transfer first with wise, and then send from your bank to wise? If so, that would explain my latest delay, where I "pushed" money to wise, and it arrived a day later than usual and was held up by Bkk bank. First time in all the years I have been using wise. Thank you -

Thai Tax on UK pensions
Raindancer replied to Humpy's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
What a crass comment. The OP quite clearly said uk state pension and military pension. So, two pensions totalling 80k per month is normal, and his military pension depends upon the rank and length of service, upon retiring. I am in the same boat, albeit my monthly combined pensions are over 93k per month. Have a nice day -
Thai Tax on UK pensions
Raindancer replied to Humpy's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
But the UK state pension, still falls under the allowances of TRD, if indeed a person's total allowance is 560k, as already clarified. Ergo: no tax on that particular " income" remitted to Thailand. -

Thai Tax on UK pensions

I am in the same boat: But my total allowances according to the table produced by @Mike Lister, provide 560k per year. Therefore as my UK state pension is below that, I have no tax to pay. My military pension, according to the TRD is exempt, therfore, I still have no income tax to pay. I hope that reassures you. -
What a sad nasty comment. You are obviously a sociopathic narcissist who does not like being challenged.

Minix inferior!....ridiculous statement from you. And your claim that your Chinese smartphone is superior to minix for viewing, is just utter nonsense.
