Yes, same for me. I have the certificate from Chalong Hospital, but it's for domestic use only.
It's infuriating that a government hospital has asked me to keep them informed about where to get the International certificate. Don't the Health Authorities talk to the hospitals? Seems not.
Ah ok, got it, yeah agreed, incredible amounts of grey.
We're used to ineptness but at a time like this if those 2 departments are communicating then that's a whole new level of stupid.

Went to Chalong hospital yesterday. What a rigmarole.
First, they kept asking for a piece of paper that was never given to those that got their jabs in Karon.
I got both shots at Karon, was given the attached after the 1st.
Went for the 2nd Saturday and they filled in the same paper, gave it to Chalong hospital yesterday and got the certificate.

First, they kept asking for a piece of paper that was never given to those that got their jabs in Karon. After awhile, they accepted the tiny sticker on my passport.
Gave me the standard form showing the two shots, batch numbers etc and claimed that it was good for international travel.
I had brought my Thai issued yellow vaccination book and asked them to fill it in and then chop and sign it. Nope, they weren't authorized to do that. They suggested I go to the Public Health Department in Phuket Town, which I will do this afternoon.
There seems to be mass confusion as to what constitutes an International validity certificate. They actually said that the standard piece of paper "will get me on the plane". I asked if the paper will be accepted by foreign airport Health and Immigration. All I got was a sheepish smile.
Can you keep us posted re getting your yellow book filled in?
Cheers

It's actually about the 3rd or 4th time a similar things happened in Rawai in the last couple of months, apparently arranged by a certain bar owner with friends that own high end condos, the ones that weren't reported were at at Vilas with keycode locks and somehow the BB got the codes....each time!
Those nabbed had 2 options....

That's because he's assuming it wasn't and he's more than likely correct.

Same , can't say I've ever had weather affect my reception on the android box.
Also as far as options go on a box, they're near on limitless!

I'm going to miss the sound of arc-induced humming and the smell of ozone in the air.
Just walk to another soi and you can still enjoy it.

I do not generally watch TV per se, bores me to tears. I carefully select and watch films and series (only one at a time) a few times a week, I never just randomly watch something. For this I download from pirate bay or from a free online movie site.. I watch PL football and for this I use True Visions. Regardless of what you might read it is NOT expensive these days, I buy their cheapest package and add on the football for 299bt. Works out around 700bt a month. For this you get bonafide ACTUAL TV, not streams or dodgy boxes, the picture is crystal clear. and 100% reliable even if it;s p!ssing down outside
If I watch the news I watch Sky News which is live and free on youtube.
I have no desire or use for products like pulse or expatasiatv or whatever it's called. I used to subscribe to teatime tv and never watched it. I had someone install a Android box for me one time, it was a waste of time and hardly ever worked properly.
Ok

Can the Android boxes have any live tv without paying a subscription (Eng/Thai), do they work out of the box or need a lot of setting up?
Any recommendations for a budget box to give it a try, Lazada has a huge price range starting under 500Baht, is there a lot of difference between a 400baht and a 800Baht box - Thanks.
A lot of difference....it's 400 baht!

Chaofa West in Chalong, heading north. Traffic lights just before TOT offices (on right), next to a Family Mart just after lights on the left. Usual array of washing machines etc outside. https://goo.gl/maps/NUYiMv2xCkRTrtHC9
Yeah familiar with them thanks, looking for another.

Streaming doesn't mean you don't need a VPN. Yes, imo true is obsolete, but pulse shouldn't be compared to true, it are other streaming services pulse should be compared to. I don't know pulse personally, but to justify the price difference the quality and service must be exceptional.
I have Pulse, it's ok but nothing special, only good for Aus. UK tv and sport, absolute garbage for movies, series and kids tv.
I'll be dumping pulse when my subscription expires.

Couldn't be bothered inspecting the CS in the afternoon on the 11th, waited until the next morning to go to the scene!!
