Maybe the best one to use is Bitkub, which is owned by Siam Commercial Bank, the oldest bank in Thailand. I also use Crypto.com, however I couldn't get the credit card sent to my address here - I got my mother to send it from the UK. It is great as I also get 3% back on every payment. I pay 4 DTAC bills a month, all petrol, Macro shopping, tesco and Big C, school and university fees. I even bought gold with it. I had to invest in their coin to get the cashback but they also have free cards. https://crypto.com/cards Binance is also OK for using in Thailand and they have a great P2P service. If I want to sell coins, I can get money sent straight to my Krung Thai account. I recently got Revolut which is simple to use. https://www.revolut.com/

I lived in Khon Kaen for 20 years and worked in Mahasarkham and know the area quite well, have relatives in Roi Et. I would not advise any foreigner to buy land in rural Isarn, unless you've lived there already for a few years(past the initial pink cloud) based on what I have seen in the past. Many problems being accepted by the local community, loneliness, etc. Much better to buy some land near a large town, no more than 10k from Khon Kaen, or if you can afford it in the city. My golden rule - Never get married here until you have lived here for 5 years and never buy a house/land until you've been married 10 years.

SCB are using blockchain technology but they don't have a channel to the UK yet. The good news is that they will in the future, maybe using XRP like they did in Japan where money could be sent for a few baht and in 2 seconds. -
Interesting, as I am now a Thai citizen, I wonder where I will pay tax on my pension, and if the bank will inform the tax office here. They have never told the tax office about my salary, I think, but my British company told me that there is a tax treaty with Thailand, so maybe they already know I pay tax in the UK.

Too right, that Facebook group is a joke. It was taken over by some builder and you can't criticize anything he says.

All I ever see on Facebook is King Kong restaurant and Pizza stories. I don't recommend either. I went to KK one Christmas and the owner never even said hello. The Pizza place is frequented by old farang drunks.

She has seen how Crypto has changed her family's lives and is quite happy. What makes you think she is unhappy? One important thing to notice, pre Covid btc was $7,000 at the start of 2020. Now it is $20,000. Most stocks are well below pre covid levels. Yet, the haters still think Btc investors are unhappy,
