    Not sure why you have to get a new number, if you have an old number (unless of course you lost it from not topping up). Anyway if you do get a new number, then the old number, and your contacts on that number are consigned to the dark depths (there is no automatic transference). You will need to inform your old contacts individually of your new number. Hope that's gentle enough..😀
