Any agent in Penang for a Thai Tourist visa?
sikishrory replied to Onerak's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yeh jim or jims place. I used to stay at the hotel next door (chula or something) and use jim. -
What is it about soccer that makes fans wanna fight? So many other sports played with no issues of fans brawling but soccer has this in many countries. Even the normally chilled thais. Weird.

Thai government defends foreign land ownership plan
sikishrory replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I remember there was a similar (masters degree) qualification required for the thai working holiday visa. I don't remember the exact wording. A chef qualification from tafe sufficed for that. Wonder if i could pull that off again. Thais don't know what TAFE is. -
I bought a firefly 2+ through asiavape. It's my first vaporiser. Being a former smoker i can say it's much cleaner and healthiER than smoking. Edibles are ok but the high is a bit different and i found them making my body tired next day. Regarding the asiavape thing. I was a little concerned they hadn't had a fb post for months. However, The reviews and website seemed to show a legit business. The device was expensive. Shipping expensive. I bought the optional insurance as 1 reviewers was confiscated by customs. They're shipped from Malaysia by land to bkk then sent by courier. So it ended up costing much more than it should. Anyway the device is good and I'm glad there was no shipping issue as some reviewers without the insurance had issues.

I don't get their love of paperwork and red tape. Even when paying for a latte sometimes i just want to pass them the cash but they have to print invoice or put it in little folder. Even the tap and go debit cards they insist on swiping it. The simplest things done backwards. Oh and the updating "book bank". Why? Totally unnecessary.

I've never seen the simple concept of a roundabout be made so confusing as it is in Thailand. -
I intoxicated everyday also. No complaints.

Thailand Seriously Bids to host Expo 2028 in Phuket
sikishrory replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
What is the expo about? I see signs all over phuket about an "expo" but there's no information anywhere about what kind of expo it is? To me it's like advertising "festival" everywhere and not mentioning what kind of festival it is. -

From the pea app select mobile banking as payment. It will automatically open the kasikorn app and enter the numbers in the fields automatically. -
I'm a Yamaha guy. I had a mt07 before Thailand and loved it. I'd like to get one again but spend a lot of time in traffic jams and like the storage of a scooter. Also better for the girlfriend. So I want the (buy outright) nmax connect. Been reading lots of reviews of yamaha places around Phuket and they're not great. Bolts falling off etc. Mechancs causing damage and getting you to pay. Prices higher than the yamaha Thailand website. Maybe higher if not getting on finance? The biggest concern is parts. Yamaha doesn't seem that popular in Thailand or something. Lots of reports of people waiting weeks/months for simple parts? Apparently from Indonesia? My concern is buying something that is a pain in the butt for parts and that any little shop can't do basic repairs for if I get a flat tire or something. Nmax is tubeless. So wondering if it's better to just get a honda or something. Pcx is the equivalent honda I think. Any thoughts?
